The river doesn’t hurry to arrive.
The seed doesn’t curse the soil for being dark.
Everything lives in its own unfolding,
and maybe that’s the lesson I kept missing,
that peace was never hiding.
It was simply waiting for me to stop sprinting toward it.
So today, I let the clock melt.
I let the phone ring.
I let the world whirl on without my supervision.
