'Twas the illness before Christmas all through the house
Every kid was sneezing all over my blouse,
We were all tucked away in our beds,
Whilst mucus dripped from our heads,
When I heard a loud exclamation, "Ho-ho whoa there!" came a proclamation,
A massive sled and eight sets of hooves,
Crashed down on the building's roofs,
I wondered if this couldn't wait till brunch,
Still the outfit gave me a hunch, Of course there's a catch,
I said as he came down the hatch,
This jolly elf was none other than St. Nick,
A worse moment he couldn't pick,
"My family and I are all sick,"
He gave me a knowing glance,
Did a funny little dance,
With magic and lots of glimmer,
Cold meds appeared with a shimmer,
Hot and cold compress were there,
Enough for us to all have care,
With that he was off and he gave a call,
"I'm taking this plague to the mall!"
Merry Christmas to all!
