A performer in a dark and twisted world

I was great with a guitar
And my senses took me far
A lesser slavery for me
Playing for the evil and the free

I played at the Stolen Palace
A battered Queen listened to us
And Archpriest Alex was watching
With all the goons that he could bring

I played in a hall in Gravetown
With Mr. John Ganes looking down
His murders in his bright blue eyes
The best man who works for him dies

I played the Devil’s tune at Castle Deth
The earl watching without a breath
Sir Drummond danced with a serving girl
I think he stole that little pearl

Once I played for Baron Treck
A good man in a shipwreck
I never played for Ballen
Who’s ritually sacrificed ten
