DOES GOD KNOW?

Does God know and therefore sends the rain -

Does God know?
Is it why the rains come
And the sky grows dark?
Is it why the chill
Of winter hangs on
Outside?
Does He know
That I need to stay
Inside
Curled up
In blankets
For warmth?
I think
He understands
And knows that
For awhile
I need solitude
And comfort.
I think
He knows that love
Is hurting me
Right now
And wants me
To come to
The place
Of peace and forgiveness;
Giving me time
To heal
And go on.
