Little Toads

A counting poem!

Five little toads 
Sitting by my door. 
One hopped to the FLOWERBED, 
And, then, there were FOUR.  

Four little toads 
L@@king up at me.  
One hopped off to chase a bug, 
And, then, there were THREE.  

Three little toads 
Playing in a shoe. 
One jumped out and hopped away,  
And, then, there were TWO.  

Two little toads 
Basking in the sun. 
One hopped off to find some shade, 
And, then, there was ONE.   

One little toad, 
Playing all alone, 
Hopped away to join his friends-- 
And, then, there were NONE!
