Senseless

I came up with the first 4 lines while i was in the shower the rest just went from there

I am deaf
Temporarily.
I cannot hear
the sounds
of you crying out in pain,
of your screams of anger.
I am blind
I cannot see
the silent tears falling down your cheeks,
the fear in your eyes.
I am dumb
I cannot speak
of the way I feel,
of my love and concern for you.
I am senseless
I cannot taste
the salt on your lips.
I cannot smell
your sweetness.
I am numb
I cannot feel.
