Touched by an Angel

A precious face that touched my heart

Yesterday when I came to stories the main topic was the death of a members child. Going to the gold sponsored item I came upon a picture that literally touched my soul. A beautiful child with the light of heaven shining on her. Reading the words of her father, I hurt deeply for someone I have never met. Although I have never written poetry I needed to express how this little angel touched me. My heart and prayers go out to her parents and those who love her.


Touched By An Angel


Loved and cherished child on loan from God

A bright little star from heaven returns

Understanding eludes those who mourn her

Reality being too painful to bear

A child with bright eyes and an angelic face

Now lives eternally among the angels

And shines brighter than ever
