Holi is a spring festival that is celebrated in most parts of India (not so much in the Southern Indian states). You put colored water, paste or colored powder on each other. Kids and the not-so-young kids, get a good dunking. The mild winter is gone and spring flowers have arrived. Summer is just around the corner. In this picture Bhaskar is unrecognizable (far right, top row) with streaks of green red and yellow colors. Friends say that normally he looks slightly better than this.:)
