The Rain Calms the Thunder

the effect good friends can have

I am like the thunder
Loud, chaotic, and destructive
Not always sure of my direction
And not always have I cared
Sometimes it makes me wonder

You are like the rain
Steady, calm, and reassuring
Your direction matters only
As much as the effect you have
When you take away the pain

Two things very far apart
And very different by nature
Yet without the end of one
The other could not start

So just as in nature i can see
The rain calms the thunder
So in life it shall go
That you calm me
