Pain

Pain associated with emotions - betrayal, indifference.

Hot, intense,
stronger than a morning coffee
drunk quickly between red
and green light,

as bitter, as tears swallowed at midnight
after betrayal by a friend.

Pain,

Pain when he said "Take care"
instead of "I care".
