When I was 8 Mom asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "Paramedic, Policeman, Fireman and a Cowboy" I couldn't decide which one I wanted to be. I almost achieved my goal! I joined the volunteer fire department on my 16th birthday and served 15 years. Then I joined the volunteer Ambulance service and served 34 years. I Became a Police Officer for 6 years also. People asked about my time in public safety. About the worst, biggest, funniest and most bizarre. Most told me "You should write a book." So instead of a cowboy I'm an aspiring author. Besides, horses have weird eyes, like they can read your mind when looking at you. Creepy.
34 Years as a Paramedic. 6 Years as a Patrolman. These are the stories.
