Summary of this Book...
This is a great, easy read for a few laughs. Tony James Stewart's writing style puts you right into the mix with them. He has great energy and attitude that really make this a feel-good book.

His time volunteering for an animal rescue group in Ecuador reads like a mix of a documentary and comedy. Everything that can go wrong, does—monkeys stealing things, parrots attacking, and yep! A bear that truly eats his pants. But Tony keeps a sense of humor through it all.

You'll quickly feel like Tony's an old friend telling you of his adventures. He is self-deprecating, genuine, and endlessly optimistic, even when he's getting scratched, bitten, and chased. Beneath it all, there's a lot of heart, and you can truly feel how much he loves and cares for animals, especially those he helps take care of. Not to mention the people he meets along the way.

If you love travel memoirs, animals, or just need a good laugh, this is the book for you! It reminds you that adventure doesn't have to be the perfect getaway or glamorous to be fun, fulfilling, and unforgettable!

I didn't like...
Sometimes the chaos got to be a bit much, which made everything kind of blend together. But it's such a tiny complaint, it's hardly worth mentioning.
The author of this Book...
Tony James Slater is a very, very strange man. He believes himself to be indestructible, despite considerable evidence to the contrary. He is often to be found making strange faces whilst pretending to be attacked by inanimate objects. And sometimes - not always, but often enough to be of concern - his testicles hang out of the holes in his trousers. It is for this reason (amongst others) that he chooses to spend his life far from mainstream civilization, tackling ridiculous challenges and subjecting himself to constant danger. He gets hurt quite a lot.
