Summary of this CDs & Vinyl...
This is the cast recording of the remake on Broadway of Hello Dolly, starring Bette Midler and David Hyde Pierce. I love this musical and saw it when I was a wee calf on Broadway. It was all understudies that day except for Morgan Freeman. Wonderful cast! Well, this remake (What I've seen of it) is fabulous. I listen to this when I am driving or feeling down and it perks me right up. If I win the lottery, we will go see it at 500$ a ticket on Broadway. Besides Les Miz, it is the only thing I've wanted to see on Broadway in many a year. Greatest Musical (after Les Miz) EVER. Love it, love it love it. Put on your Sunday clothes, It only takes a moment, So long Dearie and Hello Dolly. My favorites for oh so many reasons and Yes, I do love the movie that starred Barbara Streisand. Critics suck, but this show endures. Enjoy it if you go!
