Since my old blog "Everyday Canvas " became overfilled, here's a new one. This new blog item will continue answering prompts, the same as the old one.

The blogger understands correctly. 'Wild' means some too exciting. Those were mainly deals with entertaining the adult readers. Here "dullness" means dealing normal pace. It is an artistry. That part determines the fate of the waiting. A good writer should know how to balance those.

When I read the quote my first thought was- Our footsteps are heavier than we believe despite the fact we think we're treading lightly, trying to be the best version of ourselves. That version seems unattainable, which it is because, we can't be someone else we can only be ourselves. It's when we're gone, others realize how much we changed the world by our footsteps. Sadly, over time our footsteps and memories fade until they're invisible.

Before setting your target, you need to think about whether it is necessary for you or not. If it is unnecessary, leaving that target is a wise decision.
If that target is important for you, you should go for it, with the accompaniment of your wisdom. You must calculate all steps before beginning your journey. A well-planned performance is needed for getting success.

I agree, we should be thankful for all things (good and bad) every day. Thanksgiving is a lovely day to gather with others and give special thanks, or to reset, as you have stated. However, I try to give thanks for all things every night before I end my day.

I say try because some days it's difficult to give thanks for much at all with all the side effects of the chemo, not to mention how difficult it is to be thankful for having cancer. But I trust in the Lord and know it all works together for His plan for me.

Does Love Mess with Time?

Prompt:
“Time goes on crutches till love have all his rites.”
William Shakespeare, Much Ado About Nothing
What do you think this quote means and does its meaning have something to do with your life?

Good old bard! Leave it to him to stun and entertain us. I guess, he means, in a nutshell, time lingers when love is unresolved and when it is fully complete, it marches on, again.

Is time really slow, halting, and unsteady? I don't think so. I think, with or without love, time flies.

At any rate, the quote is saying that nothing moves freely when love is unfinished. This is when days feel longer and every hour is heavy with waiting.

Plus, love is portrayed here as a kind of sacred ceremony, since it needs attention and sincerity to be complete. Until its rites are taken care of, feelings confessed, wounds healed, and understanding and union is reached, life and love make little sense. So, when and if love has been complete, then time regains its pace. Then it moves with purpose, easily, with its natural rhythm.

After I tried to explain what Shakespeare possibly had meant, I thought, "What a pain love is! It even messes up with time. Just maybe." Though now, I think, possibly I was very lucky. If love messed with time, I never noticed it.

It's also possible that I am not a romantic.
