My life's ups and downs... |
Monday, June 6, 2011, 7:51pm Today was good... my production increases every day on this data entry job. Yay! Tonight I have been submitting bids online for transcription work. I am hoping to hear from a client in Scotland... I did two jobs for him previously. However, the last job he sent had such a strong brogue with slurred slang and I had to decline. (So I'm hoping he doesn't hold that against me.) Summer is here! |
Sunday, June 5, 2011, 5:36pm I am finished --- finito --- the very large and difficult transcription project, 695 pages, is complete! Pay day audaciously prances on the horizon. Hip, hip, hooray... Hip, hip, hooray! I have been hard at it all weekend and am just now catching up, taking a breath, relaxing... The weather has been odd... We had a strong storm with thunder, lightening and heavy rain Friday -- the power was steadfast and unwavering. Today, the rumblings of distant thunder have been ongoing and the power failed. Thank God it didn't last long. It has also been slightly overcast all day without any rain whatsoever. |
Friday, June 3, 2011, 11:33pm I am almost done with this transcription... Should finish up tomorrow... Phew! Then I am going to start working on another project on Sunday. Not much time to play around... I need to work, work, work just to catch up on my bills, which is an arduous task after being unemployed for so long. Enjoy your weekend! This is my birthday month; so, I am just naturally HAPPY! |
Thursday, June 2, 2011, 6:23pm Don't know what I did, but just wiped out my entire entry. My phone is shut-off and so is my satellite TV... I'm pretty much out of touch with the world right now..., exept for the internet. I've got a lot of work to do this evening. So, have a good one... Later, alligator! |
Memorial Day, May 30, 2011, 9:59am I've got the hot dogs and hamburgers... just don't have the family. I knew I forgot something. =0 I am remembering our military in the Middle East... May God bless them and bring them home safely. My niece is in boot camp as we speak. Lord, watch over Devan... may she learn her lessons well and come home strong. Have a great day! |
Sunday, May 29, 2011, 9:22pm I am on the final lap of this very large transcription assignment. I hope to completely finish sometime this week. It has been long and tiresome, difficult listening..., but the end is now in sight! Yes! Made a trip to the grocery tonight and bought hamburger, hot dogs and lunchmeat sandwiches, with all the fixins. I am tired now. Good-night. |
Sunday, May 29, 2011, 10:56am ... just happened again. I was making an entry then apparently hit a wrong set of keystrokes and it was all out like a light. So, here goes the second time around... a little bit louder and a little bit stronger. Slept in this morning... read my bible, screwed around on the computer a bit, then glanced at the clock --- too late to make it to church! Shoot! Bang! Bang! My youngest nephew graduated from high school over the weekend! Yeah for Derone. Austin also graduated --- he'd be my second cousin once removed? Don't know how those things work. Anyway... make way for the next generation. All too soon and my grandsons will be graduating... just another eight or nine years. Well, I've wiled away too much of this day already. Sianara! |
Saturday, May 28, 2011, 8:47pm Let me just say I have had a productive day. Finished quite a bit of transcription, washed dishes, and caught up my laundry. The towels and sheets will come later --- next weekend maybe. Now, I'm tired..., but it's a good, happy tired. Have a nice Memorial Day weekend! |
Friday, May 27, 2011, 9:45pm Had a good day. Though we keep what is called a tic sheet, daily --- which holds the tally of production lines of data entry for each bill we enter --- and today, I forgot to enter three sheets, greatly reducing my lines for the day. Too bad. God, help me remember to complete that sheet before posting each bill. Rest well and enjoy the weekend. |
Thursday, May 26, 2011, 8:25pm Today was a good day at work -- though I didn't do nearly as well as I did yesterday. Maybe I got a little too proud of myself. Today was totally screwed. Tonight I will be reviewing the manual to prepare myself for testing tomorrow. Au revoir, arrivederci, bon voyage! |
