My random thoughts and reactions to my everyday life. The voices like a forum.

I do not know quite what happened or when , but my hubby and I now qualify for seniors' discounts at some venues. This creates a quandary; in order to save money, but not face, we have to admit to our age. HMMMM..... We definitely do not consider ourselves to be old. In this day and age ,when people as a whole are living longer and healthier lives why are 'young seniors', those in their fifties, like moi, considered 'old'?? It's so true that age is just a perception! "Maturity" is very objective/subjective, and I object! Whew, a few years have skittered by since I composed this biography block. Those "fifties" are in the rear view mirror and they are distant, fond memories. Oh, I do not plan to stop writing any time soon.

Prompt: If you were being interviewed on television for something of importance, how would you handle a situation where your thunder is about to get stolen by someone/something that has no relevance to the subject?
I believe I'd find the humour in the sudden situation, accept it, and laugh. Serendipity is short-lived, and spontaneous. I cannot control everyone, or everything.

March 11th prompt: Creation Saturday! Who wins in the ultimate battle of Good versus Evil? The Parricorn or the Sharkhorse?
Quoi? Huh? Imaginary animals? Um, which one is evil? Am I expected to consider one more frightening than the other? They are both kinda unbelievable, and odd-looking. Okay, both of these crazy creatures have muscles, and hooves. One has feathers, and maybe a bird brain. The second 'thing' appears to resemble a shark with a mouthful of sharp teeth. Hmmm... So, is an animal that hunts for prey supposed to be'bad'? Is he misunderstood?
Arrgghh, I dunno.I'm not feeling well. I turned to Google for inspiration... my headache sought some relief. What did I expect? I typed "parracorn" into the blank search box, and the internet served up some doozies. Yep, I found "acorn". Huh, I discovered a musical artist born 1976 in the Netherlands, a Piet Parra. According to the Spanish, "parra" is a surname meaning vine bower or trellis, a pergola. None of this pointed to a bird/unicorn.
My search for sharkhorse came up with just a photo. Names such as "hork", or " shorse" were suggested. My headache pounds on...
