Life is a journey. Too bad someone hasn't come up with an easier way to travel. I'm supposed to be doing daily Physical therapy for my back. I couldn't afford going in, but got a set of exercises to do on my own. Now, all I need is the self discipline to do them. My wooden ramp at home needs yearly painting and maintenance, but was a free gift from my neighbors. Best of luck getting help with yours.
Look for the resources in your area like was posted above. Eyes are better with cataract surgery. I know how hard it is to help people who are not mobile. You and wife will be in my prayers.
Call friends, family, neighbors, and folks in the community. In a small town? Someone will know someone who can help; but... only if you let them know.
Working on getting a wheelchair ramp so i can get my wife to the eye surgeon to get her cataracts removed. Really having a hard time dealing with the situation. She can't get up and down stairs safely and i don't know how i am going to pay for a ramp. But I can't let her go completely blind. Friday was supposed to be a good day. SHe was finally leaving the house after 7+ years. How did things go to s*** so quickly?
