Faith to journey as God leads into unknown territories and situations. Where am I going?
Do you know where you're going? I know To Follow Gods Lead

I am in research mode, knowing that God is my light and my guide. Recently I felt prompted to take a very, very close look at Arkansas. When the Holy Ghost gives me direction and I feel urged to act, Most of the time I know it is in my very best interest to do heavy duty in depth research, follow the spirit, pay attention to my feelings, and listen intently for guidance from my Heavenly Father. God is good all the time. Jesus is my friend and He who takes great care of me, and Holy Ghost is my help and my guide.

1/20/2020 Bonnie my Blue-headed Pionus Parrot left this earth for her heavenly home. Holly, my Congo African Grey parrot and I miss Bonnie very much. She was a wonderful family member, friend, and companion.

This has been extremely difficult for Holly because they were bonded and kept each other company. This bonding was not like a bonded pair who were raising chicks. They were very, very close, the best of the best friends kind of bonding together.

My focus has been on Holly because she is struggling. Sadly Holly isn't eating well, she's been kinda down and seems sad. African Grey parrots are highly intelligent birds. They live within a flock family, have bonding friendships, mates, and social life. Their diet is varied veggies and fruit plus some protein. My focus is on doing everything I can to get Holly interested in eating and being active so that she doesn't have time to think about her loss so much. Parrots have a grieving period. I want here to have this but not to excess or to the point where she risks her life.

As soon as she is doing better, and hopefully, as soon as I find another companion bird for her, I will switch more of my attention to WDC and the activities which are near and dear to my heart.

Does anyone know of a parrot preferably a Congo African Grey, who needs a home?

Safe travels and many blessings.

I had a light bulb moment a few days ago. Now my future is much brighter. I expect it to become so bright I'll need to put on my sunglasses. God guided me along this path for which I am grateful. I really enjoy riding with Him while He does the driving. I feel very uplifted and confident that everything will work out well. Step by step I will build a better and closer relationship with God, be debt-free, and be able to have a life that is awesome.
Safe travels and many blessings.

After being seriously sick for many, many months, I am finally at long last able to spend time within the WDC community again. It's great beyond words to be here. God is the great physician who ultimately took care of me, guided me, guided the medical people, and kept me safe.

"disABILITY WRITERS GROUP is again very much alive and well with new blood flowing through the hills and valleys of our resort. As for me, I have successfully been able to visit here for a few days regularly, yeah!

"ONE SIZE FITS ALL RAFFLE Has tickets for sale which supports various groups that rotate each round, including "disABILITY WRITERS GROUP and our activities. Some of these activities are our "disABILITY WRITERS MOUNTAIN LOG CABIN where we gather to fellowship and share information, "DWG Poetry Creativity where we have great discussions about poetry, review poetry, and learn about poetry. There are other activities which help the groups on WDC such as "WIN: Special Commissioned Merit Badge for helping groups obtain their special MB, "DWG Shop which helps by donating items and having items available for WDC groups and members to purchase with gift points for personal and group activities or gifts.

Everyone is welcome to join our family group.

Being in AR is one of the best things I've changed for me, and being beak to WDC is another best thing for me. DisABILITY Writers group does reviews and reaches out to the WDC community. Come visit with us when you can, we'll be glad to spend time with you.
Safe travels and many blessings.

It's the rainy season here, so I should get out my row boat. We had a week or so of rain a few days ago and now it has rained again and seems to want to rain down upon everything here more and possibly a lot more. As long as there is no major damage and nobody floats away the rain is welcome because this is helping things go green and eventually become colorful.

The nights are cool to absolutely cold like in the thirties this time of year, however, it gets warmer during the day and sometimes which actually was yesterday and the day before, it got warm enough to spend considerable time outside. I enjoyed looking at the mountains and taking in the beautiful scenery. As I enjoyed my surroundings I was also enjoying my time here at WDC.

It is wonderful to be here again.
Safe travels and many blessings.

Finally I have been able to return to my writing family and friends here, yeah! Wow, this is the third time I wrote a post and this time the system finally saved it, I am thankful, phew!

As usual medical and energy required me to get a lot of rest and do much of nothing. I was tired and did sleep off and on so probably needed to do this, ugg. Oh well, it could have been worse and was not, so I am thankful for Heavenly Fathers mercies.

Bella my service dog was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. She is under vet care and taking medication which seems to be helping.

The ups and downs of life have made things challenging and also rewarding. Sadly I was away for a while however having returned recently I hope to stay for a long time without interruptions. Medical challenges will at times interrupt my adventures on writing.com yet my hope is that they will be very, very brief. If not and a longer absence is necessary perhaps a few members of our family group will be able to assist in keeping our activities and the group going. This would be appreciated any time.

It has been over a year since I've relocated in Arkansas. I still do not miss my previous home state however friends and family are missed. Some of the conveniences like having places for getting food, clothing, and other things, near by are missed. There is a very small town about 9 miles away which is nice. For other needs it is required that the travel is about 45 miles away, not certain exactly. What I do usually is plan a trip and get most of what is needed or have things shipped to me.

The convenience of having resources close by is nice however I still prefer having the space and wilderness or rather homestead type of living on 10+ ache to being crammed into suburbia. I very much enjoy my space and am grateful and thankful to God for having this opportunity to enjoy the mountains, nature, and the expanse of the land. God has been very good and merciful to me.

By the acre I'm actually here on my WDC anniversary, wow, this has got to be God because I almost didn't think about logging in today and when I did it hadn't occurred to me that it was my 6th anniversary day. Amazing! Good thing my head is attached. SO far I haven't needed to go to lost and found.

The past few months I've been busy with life activities and medical necessary tasks. Currently working on ridding myself of a UTI which is part of the medical package occasionally when this stuff sneaks up on me. Usually, I'm ok and don't need to deal with this stuff.

company on the way shall return later.
