I have to chuckle as I look at this - "Note: Three Word Thursday In just three words , g..." - I have posted like 20 responses.

You see, every Wednesday, I play D&D. I own all the 5e books, been getting the 5.5 books, and a number of 3rd-party books.

Now, D&D has the typical races - humans, elves, dwarves, orcs, goblins, and so on. It also uses the occasional sci-fi-like being - like the android/cyborg like Warforged. Then, there's the various animalfolk. I mean, including subspecies, there's 100+ different races, 100+ backgrounds, 13 classes with like 100 subclasses total - I mean, you're looking at like, at minimum, and assuming no multi-classing, a million potential combinations...... and that's without making one Variant Human Champion Fighter become a Sword and Shield sort that has the Tough feat, another being an Archer sort with Sharpshooter, and a third using a Polearm with the Polearm Master feat, with the preferred Fighting Styles for such methods of fighting. Then, there's the individual skill proficiencies they can have......

So, next time you want to make a character, make one at random by selecting from a D&D book.
