The offense is not mentioned.
A trial with a weak defense.
"We all do it."
The purpose of this tome is a loss.
The voice of the people can be fickle.

This tome reveals the power of the written word.
There is the passing of a letter that the narrator has written for a boy.
I find the premiss charming ..
My father told me that the ocean hides Atlantis.
Is that what you were referring too?
I was confused by the use of the word "kils."
Did you mean kilometer?

There are many moral committees and taboos in film rating.
I like horror films for their simple morals.
Don't say the Boogy Man's name.
Don't go into the Boogy Man's house.
Halloween is my favorite Boogy Man Movie.
Michael Myers starts out as a psycho child.
But, he matures into a bulletproof Boogy Man.

The dating between Jayesh and Natasha is cute.
Principle Ravindra's reaction reminded me of a Marry Tyler More episode.
Lu Grant would comment on Marry's relationship in the sitcom TV Newsroom.
"Oh, Mr. Grant." Mary would reply to her boss an editor Lu Grant.

This tome jumps back and forth and sideways.
Harvey is a suicide attempt?
Mrs. Sorensen is his wife and a cop..
And Doctor Feingold is Harvey's doctor.
Mrs. Sorensen pulls over Harvey's doctor
for traffic counseling.
Mrs. Sorensen, whose name isn't really Hellen,
wants some closure with the Doctor..
Well, that is unique.
The overall mood is malaise.

The spinning wheel spinning round
as your hair turns the colors of the leaves.

This is a snappy lymeric!
How old were Adam&Eve?
Physically they were created, adults.
Eve was a clone of Adam.
That would make her his sister.
God said, "Be fruitful and multiply."
But, He said that after their fall from grace..
Where did Cain's wife come from?
The Book of Jubilee says Eve had daughters.
Genesis is incestuous. Oy!
Bible scholars say the story of Adam&Eve is a retelling of a Sumerian myth.
The Sumerian Garden of Eden was in Iraq and Adam&Eve were the tribes of man.
The Angels gave knowledge of farming and tools to Adam&Eve.
The Sky Gods took human wives and made giants.
Is the Bible a historical document?
Sounds like a sci-fi drive-in movie.

But, the spacing is off.
Are you looking for a script style?
Have you heard of the Leopold case?
Two prodigy college students planned the perfect murder.
Hitchcock made a movie about them, Rope.
Of course, there's never a perfect murder.

Well said.
Unfortunately, the riots and looting
will bring marshal law and more oppression of the citizenry.
George Floyd's brother condemned the burning of his community by criminals.
There is only hope if justice is for all.
The unemployment of 40 million people will not be corrected by burning down the city.
The military will be sent into our streets.
And that will end of what is left of our democracy.

A beautiful poem.
When I take commercial flights;
I often wonder how much thrust
is needed to keep the plane afloat.
It is possible to glide a jet plane,
but it is not easily done.
Then, I ponder what kind of air filtration
the plane has.
Has it been regularly sanitized?
Covid-19 would flourish in the sealed cockpit
of a jet plane.
And then I glance at my fellow passengers.
Do they have Covid-19?
And I marvel at the tiny meal provided.
And wonder if it is fresh and germ-free.
Of course, there might be a terrorist or psychopath
seated next to me.
But that's old hat compared to Covid-19.
Bird collisions are also passing through my thoughts.
That can happens on take-off and landing.
Has the bathroom been sanitized?

My sister likes to say to me, "You'll die alone and no one will care."
My dad said, "You can do something with your life or be a bum."
My mother said, "Marry a good girl, and she will tell you what to do."
I had a journalism professor who said to me, "My son died snorkeling."
in the middle of my interview in front of the class.
I tried to console her, "He's with God."
She smiled, "I just made that up. I wanted to see your reaction."
Apparently, that's one way to shake up an interview.
Friedrick Hihek, a German economist, remarked,
"If someone kicks me down a flight of stairs, should I think they love me?"
He fled to America to escape Hitler.
And my mother confessed to me, "I never loved your father, but he is comfortable."

I would like to read a story about a housewife with a fantastic life;
maybe, like June Ward on Leave it to Beaver.

When I was born there were 3 and a half billion people in the world.
Today there are 7 and half billion people in the world.
And each person has a unique story.
The child in the third world starves, while the other children play with toys.
For the fortunate few there is wealth and privilege.
Who will have food and good healthcare?
Is this natural selection?

Your poem reminds me of these cruel facts.
But, it is also charming and nostalgic.
I remember when how important toys were. :)

I'm reminded of a film where Hitler is in Hell.
He is asked what is his punishment?
Hitler is wearing a maid's dress.
The Devil shoves a pineapple up Hitler's butt.
And Hitler replies, "I hate pineapples."

Your poem is eloquent.
Ancient man feared being eaten by wild animals.
They were the demons in the night.
They could see clearly in the night we could not.
Hence, the hounds of hell appear in folklore.
Wolves were one of our competitors for food.
Eventually, the god part of our brain grew larger.
And we imagined our Heavenly Father was looking over us.

That North Korean dictator Kim YumYum has got COVID-19.
He's in a coma. Will he go to Hell? He's a Buddist.
And he believes he is one of the many gods or Avatars.
Maybe he is too crazy to go to Hell?

I know a girl who fancied herself a psychic.
But, she never can figure me out.
I was raised in a crazy house.
So I have a poker face..
I think your poem is well written for an oracle.
I can picture you casting prophecies over a burning bush of hemp.
The problem with your tome is you seem to be overreacting.
That's what my girlfriend does...and I pretend to understand.
Hell hath no fury as a woman scorned.
I'm probably being insensitive, but I like the artwork.

Well, this is very subtle.
There is a string theory that whatever thought we have
is made real in another dimension.
Physicists like to call Heaven or Hell another dimension.
On the other hand, how many times have we judged someone at a glance?
There might be an angel or extraterrestrial on this website.
For all, we know our poems might be read by entities in other dimensions.
Radio, Television and WFI signals travel into outer space and beyond.
Maybe you're a multidimensional person or a computer?
Maybe this is a dream, but who is the dreamer?

Shapeshifting cat people is a fun topic.
There's a campy 1987 film "Cat People" that you'd enjoy.
Actually, it's a remake of a 1956 film by the same title.
It's the story of a young woman, who discovers she is a shapeshifter.
There is another simular 1982 film "Wilderness" about a young female werewolf.
She's a librarian, who has flashbacks to her childhood in the wilderness.
All of these films explore the duality of the female spirit.
Are they civilized ladies or wild animals?

I enjoyed the flow of your story of cat witches.
But, there was too much alliteration.
I prefer short concise syntax.
The mood is witchy and fun.
Why are black cats feared?
Probably because they can seek up on people and bite them.

The doctor gave my dad quine for leg cramps.
Apparently another version of quine, hydroxychloroquine stops
the coronavirus in some chases.
These viruses predate mammals and fish.
They can live on meteors in extreme cold and heat.
It is possible the first living organism was a virus.

I hope there is a cure.

Never explain the joke.
But I like the rhythm ..
I think this virus has more tricks.
They usually do. I remember the swine flu.
H1m1 was tricky too.
But we are designed to fight these buggers.
It will most likely be resolved in September.
That seems to be the pattern for pandemics.

As I read this thread, I wondered where is the divine plan?
The older brother is a better person after surviving an attempted murder.
That's a story I've seen before.
There were a few kids I knew in my neighborhood, who were messed up ..
One girl was being molested by her father, who had a heroin addiction.
She was promiscuous and got pregnant in her teens.
She kept the baby and became a nurse.

The brain can remain active for 5 to ten minutes after the heart stops.
But when the heart stops so do the lungs and the brain is oxygen-starved.
That's when the fun begins as the thousands of neurons in the brain flit out.
A brain surgeon had a heart attack and recalled seeing Heaven and naked women covered in butterflies.
He wrote a book about being "Woke".
"The stones so far below" reminded me of the craggy cliffs of the Skelligs.
I climbed the steps of the Skelligs to visit ancient Irish ruins.
A Christen monastery had been built on it, but you could still find runic symbols.
Your tome revolves around winter and stones against the sea.
I like it.

"A man can only be dead so long before he forgets his name." my dad told me one Christmas.
He did not like being in a nursing home.
He only lived two years at Sunny Hill.

You made a good choice to have the narrator be submissive.
It makes the character more endearing.
I asked my mom, one summer in my childhood, why two ladies were kissing.
She said they were hippies. This was the 1970's.
Mom was old school; born in 1926.
My dad believed homosexuals were demon-possessed. Dad was born in 1910.
I think there is a gay gene; were born that way.
I asked Sister Emeritus, "Why Adam didn't come from Eve?" in CCD class.
Mom had told me where babies come from.
Sister Emeritus answered, "Man is the head of the family."
So, Eve was Adam's clone...(?)

This is a sensitive sonnet.
I have a few observations.
"As you stare in that window," you wrote.
"As you stare out that window," might be clearer.
"Asking you non-verbally to stay," you wrote.
"Asking you silently to stay." might be clearer.
These are small stylistic observations.
The overall message is passionate.

Ha! I imagined Sherly Temple making this speech.
"Or trouble you'll beget," Sherly would say wagging her finger.
In the Time Magazine interview of Adolf Hitler, Hitler said,
"The German people deserve prosperity."
He was elected by the popular vote of the Catholic majority.
He promised prosperity and a stronger Germany.
One of the first things he did was build the "People's car,"
the Volkswagon.
He also implemented food vouchers and public housing construction
and restored public transportation.
The trains ran on time...

This was a fun read.
But, be careful what you wish for.
I lost family in the war to end all wars.

Hmm, "Now I understand my body I don't want it anymore,
wrap myself in cellophane and start chopping, angry that
my legs bend inwards and my hair is flat." you wrote Charlie.
Are you angry about your gender?
The process is vague. I'd like more clarity.
When I was a lad of 9 or ten I'd slide about the tub.
I like to slide over the tile floor too.

The poem is seemingly innocent, until the chopping impulse.
