Wonderful poem, you have a very nice repertoire of thought and presentation. I find I can really relate to the story told in the words. When I was young I could not find some one who both loved me and I loved them. I found all the kind and enjoyable girls were destroyed right before my eyes by ignorant, disgusting, putrid men. I was lucky, I suppose. When I started to recollect the past of my mother and father I was reminded of the girl They choose to be my wife. although since I was taken away from them that did not happened, but still I remember after high school I had my name changed back to my original and a girl recognized my name. It was that same girl I was to be married to. I decided to get married to her after realizing what my parents had seen in her. I would not be able to live with out her. now she is my beautiful Bouquet of roses just as I am her vase.
I really like this poem, I some times contemplate my own journey, but never for long lest I linger in those thoughts to long and wish for death. I feel sad for Samantha though, I suppose if she loved those amongst the group it would be hard to give up that very isolated time together not sharing the one's she loves with many people at all. I would be lying if I said I would not be the same. that isolation as long as it's with those you love is definitely a paradise or so I believe.
I really enjoy the truth behind the figurative words. I really believe it capture's what a writer see's as he gazes at a blank sheet of paper. I also agree it is very easy to write 500 words a day, but on one topic it certainly is another story. That would probably be the reason my High school English mark was saved by poetry and story writing.
