Writing.Com – A website? No, it’s a family of writers! I’ve never seen so many writers that have not actually had their writing published. It’s amazing. Due to Writing.Com, my writing is improving because of the awesome reviews people fill my inbox with! Every day I check my inbox for more reviews, tips, comments, post ect. Writing.Com is like an online teacher full of people just like me. My new slogan is “Writers write for writers at Writing.Com.” Thank you for creating such a great site that I expected to have so much fun on! Writing.Com has certainly become a part of my life!
I just joined Writing.Com yesterday, and loved it! After searching for a good site for writing for ages, I eventually gave up and typed Writing.Com, and that's how I arrived on this little piece of writing paradise. I've gone on for hours now since I discovered the site, and hope that this site will be found and I know; loved by all!
I became a member of Writing.Com in April of 2006, but I never really used it. I would log on every three months or so (when I would get an e-mail saying that it had been 90 days since my last log in, and if I didn't log in soon my account would be cancelled). So I would log in just to keep my account open, but never really spent time looking around...until 2/1/07. For some reason that day I decided to actually discover what Writing.Com had to offer...and there's been no turning back. Since then I've posted 9 items (7 poems, 1 short story and 1 interactive story). I've even paid for a 1-year premium membership, because that's how good I think this site is. Everyone here has been wonderful and supportive, and now I tell everyone about Writing.Com!

Joining Writing.Com in Oct. '04 was like finding a long lost friend. Look no farther for a place to marvel and dabble in diversified style and genres of marvelous writers who keep you on your toes. Better yet, if you travel, the personal, My Account is always there for one. At libraries and motels you can log in, write, create & communicate. No wonder members are addicted, thrilled and gungho to count themselves & their works online with such an easy to use website.
Writing.Com is absolutely incredible. Not only does it showcase amazing and unique written works, but it gives you a wonderful feeling of being part of a community. Everyone here is so supportive.
For a long time, I felt constrained, frustrated, and unhappy. But this place gave me the freedom I had sought for so long. I love to write and feel free when I do so, I love Writing.Com for the freedom it has given me. Everyone told me that writng and reading was my talent, I taught myself to read from the age of 3. Reading has aways been my love. My message to everyone is let nothing constrain or bind you, and do not be embarassed by other people's thoughts of you. Do what you love and live doing what makes you happy.
I used to write a long time back, but stopped it because of some vague reasons. After that, I was a bit afraid to take up writing again. But this was before I came across Writing.Com. I have received some great and honest reviews for my works. These reviews have not only helped me in getting my confidence back but also in improving my writing style. I just want to thank Writing.Com and its helpful members for this.

Through the course of raising a family with my wife I had buried my passion for writing although the spark had never completely died. A friend of mine reccomended this site while watching me sift through an old box of poems, etc. That was about three weeks ago and now I find myself writing every day. This site and the people buzzing about on it are a blessing! I am getting feedback and reviewing as well, with writers across the globe, and I haven't even scratched the tip of the iceberg here yet!!

I have been a member for about two weeks or so and once I saw the layout, and got my first review I was hooked. I used to think I only had one addiction in my life now I have two, coffee and Writing.Com. I went post crazy and review crazy and see no end in sight. Thanks for allowing me to join the best website on the planet.
I came across Writing.Com by accident. After first arriving there, I was pleased at the new outlet I had found. Initially, my first couple weeks there were rather hectic from all of the response I received from members on my work. I also experienced some trouble with the StoryMistress, because of my tendency to ignore ratings guidelines and such. But after smoothing things over w/ the StoryMaster, one of my pieces was noticed and was published by a humor magazine. Thank you, Writing.Com! I'm beginning my third year with them as we speak.

I love to write poetry, and I've been searching desperately for a place to place my poetry. My first collection faded to dust, and when I discovered Writing.Com, I had hope. I placed my second collection here and I am very ecstatic having this as my base. I get to meet people who share the same passion as mine. Thanks Writing.Com!
This site has been a wonderful source of keeping me occupied and writing. I have met a couple of very nice people. I haven't posted any of my work yet, I am working on a number of small projects. Thank you Writing.Com for giving us a place to destress and be ourselves.
(Note: This dish is bested tasted with tongue in cheek.) CAUTION-ADDICTIVE! Do not be enticed by the gift points, contests, and games to dip into the “harmless fun” of brain-teasing appetizers. This site lays out an immoral mental smorgasbord of decadent truffles disguised as crisp crudités. I started out nibbling on other's creations, and soon I was biting into reviews. I honestly didn't see the harm in choking off a hungry child's innocent request with: “Your thesis would be better supported if you gave specific examples of how ice cream is good for you.” It didn't take long before I was stewing in my own poetry. I savored the idea that I could quit whenever I wanted… until the day I found myself washing the same dish, mulling the ancient question of whether shadows jump, dance, or flicker. Today, I tasted my first public review...and... now I realize I've been reduced to a junkie, craving her next trip to the literary buffet. My last memory is of dancing into the kitchen, relishing the thought of a vegan meal. An hour later, my husband found me; immersed in the pots and pans, slurping greasy strings of ham from my fingertips—marinating in a mesmerizing melange of metaphor and meter. May my unsavory confession serve as a recipe of warning. SAVE YOURSELF. Do not sample even one tempting morsel, lest you be swallowed in the Hades of cerebral gluttony that is Writing.Com.

Writing.Com, a unique library to me. It is a library a person can enter at any time and find just about any thing to read. This library is in any home that has the internet; it’s like a personal library. In this library a person can find books, articles, and collections. It is not just any library; here a person can exchange words and thoughts with the authors that write the items and the authors will write back. I couldn’t ask for more, but wait, there is more. In this library one can be an author also, one can have their own book! And still, there is more. People will read what one writes and it will be rated and critiqued. In the library there are games to play and things to purchase and many, many friends to be. I have a library, it’s found at Writing.Com. At Writing.Com I find my favorite authors and look in on them as often as I can. Here I have made friends with people I would never have met otherwise. In fact, each author I meet is a book all in themselves. Some, like a good book, I cannot put down. Often I find myself eagerly waiting the next time I can pick the book up and flip through the pages. They are living characters with real stories, real joy and real pain. Each has many chapters and each is an ever changing work. To read the works or glimpse the worlds of these authors is to me, something precious that I hope never to take for granted. To me Writing.Com is a living library and I’m glad to be part of it.

Yo. My name is Sabconth (Sab for short). I've been with this community for less than 3 days, and already the feeling of fellowship and guidance this place offers is bewildering. I only hope I can help keep it that way.
Writing.Com is like chocolate. Not dark chocolate, because I don't like dark chocolate. Milk chocolate. Or maybe white chocolate... yeah, white chocolate. Awesome. Oh oh, wait! - actually, that sort of chocolate bar that has both milk AND white chocolate. That's the best. Yeah.

Thank you Writing.Com for letting me share my work. Before I had a little notebook which I was very self-conscious about using. Because of you, I have gained more confidence and am willing to display my work. You rock!
Hi. My name is Lyric. I have been on WDC for almost a week now. I feel that I can't live without it already. I find myself waking up in the middle of the night and getting on this site. There are so many nice people here. I like the honest reviews that many people give. Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful place which I feel like I belong.

This is a great site! I am member since one day only and spent a long evening to look around and try to get acquainted. I can already tell that this site will prove very addictive. It's not only the chance to write, but also to get reviewed and encouraged by other members and hence improve your writing. And to my surprise it is very interesting and challenging to review the writings of fellow-members. So even if I have no inspiration to write, this site remains interesting. The reward-system enhances it all. Wonderfull!

Writing.Com is one of the most encouraging place for budding authors. The remarkable rewards programs, the reviews make this place such an unique experience. Though a minimal user, and even though I am yet to get a hang of all its features, I could vouch for the remarkable utility of the site. Nowhere else on the web, did I find such an unique place of honing your writing skills. Kudos to Writing.Com!
I have been writing for three years, since I was 11, but only just joined Writing.Com. It has been a really great place to post my writing and hear what others think. Their comments and constructive criticism make me a better writer. Plus, since Writing.Com is so easy to use, I have been writing a few pages everyday, when normally I only wrote when I felt like it. Writing.Com has made me a better and more active writer. Thanks WDC!

I joined Writing.Com two months ago, and I am having the time of my life writing. You get honest reviews from other people on the site, not to mention good advice. I honestly don't know what I would have done if I hadn't stumbled across this site. I would like to thank everyone at Writing.Com for the great welcome I received, and good luck to all future authors!!!
I have to say, I'm extremely pleased with the overall pleasantness of this website. The moderators are nothing but nice, and the other users don't give you harsh critisism. It's very rewarding to have someone tell you that your writings make them want to read more. I love Writing.Com! :)

Many years ago I used to write quite often, then just stopped. Then I came across Writing.Com. I have started writing again and have received so many helpful hints from other writers here. I am so glad that I found this site as it has lit that spark again that I thought I had lost. Everyone here has been very nice. They seem like one big family. You don't feel like newbie very long because they welcome you into the fold so genuinely. Thank you, WDC.
Before I found Writing.Com, I had never written before. When I put my first story on Writing.Com it was because I was curious to see if anybody would read it. And now I can't seem to stop. The people on this web site are really nice and help me to write better. Thank you, Writing.Com!
