Writing.Com is the greatest blessing for me. I was just searching for a good site to write or read stories in. I stumbled upon Writing.Com and my world has changed(seriously). I feel I can be so much more. I've started to feel that I can actually create something good. I wasn't much of a poem person before. But then I wrote my very first poem and I got a superb review for it. I came to know that I can excel in it too. Now everytime I sit simply, my mind conjures up a new idea to write about. The reviews I have got made me feel on top of the world. I've never been this happy. I now believe I am worth something and that I can do a lot. I feel so confident. Writing.Com is by far the greatest site for writers and readers!! No other site can even have a chance on coming close, believe me I've looked at the others. This is a site where you are free to speak what you wish and be as creative as you dream. If it wasn't for Writing.Com, I don't think I'd be the same person I am today. I stopped inside Writing.Com while looking for literature related websites. This is one of the most helpful websites I've seen so far. Thanks to all the wonderful members, I've learnt a lot about writing. I've met many friends. This is the only site I like sailing through nowadays.
Writing.Com has been a tremendous help to me in perfecting and polishing my writing style. The stories I have posted have not only been seen by a wide range of people but their insights have made quite a difference in the quality of my work and in my confidence in submitting stories for publication. I had been searching for a publisher for years, and no one was interested in my work - because I am not a professional, and have no money to invest in the publish-it-yourself routine. This wonderful site gives me a chance to let others read my efforts and comment on them which is very helpful. Thank you so much for this opportunity.
Writing.Com is one of those windows that have been opened when a door has been shut. The door being writers block, and the window being idea. This website is great to get off your high-horse about your "perfect writing" and learn the ways of a real author. The reviews can be wonderful, or they can be spiteful, but either way your writing will definitely get a good polishing. If you want a great workshop type community, then Writing.Com is the place for you.
After a seven year period of not writing anything, not even in a journal, I was encouraged to start again. Needless to say, my confidence was shot. As I was searching for places on the interenet for advice, I came across Writing.Com, which I am so thankful for. I have made great friends, recieved lots of advice, and restored my confidence. I wouldn't be where I am today with my writing without my friends and family at WDC!! Thanks for giving writers a place to share openly.
I've been a loner all my life, feeling I had so much to offer, but nowhere to offer it. I was the odd girl out, no matter where I went or what I did... until I found Writing.Com. All of my life I had looked for others like myself, and this is where I finally found them... all of us now snuggled together beneath some kind of literary blanket. I'm no longer lonely. I found Writing.Com when I was looking for some good stories and poetry. I eventually got addicted and just had to join. Being someone that generally spent way too much time correcting my writing and not nearly enough 'perfecting' it, Writing.Com has opened endless doors for me to "take it to the next level". As a teen, there are not many people that enjoy writing. In this case, I decided to go on the internet to find a writing website to post my stories and get a professional review. I have managed to get that very well. Thank you, Writing.Com!
I came across Writing.Com by a forum that had a list of sites you could show your writing at. I joined Writing.Com the day I came across it and immediately started showing off my writing. It's been history since then, I've met so many people, so many friends, and have written so many works! I love the feedback you can get on your writing, but what I love the most is how this site is like a big family. The people here are wonderful and you won't find a better community online anywhere else. I love this place, it's my 2nd home and my home on the web. I'd definitely encourage anyone and everyone to join this great community!
I stumbled upon Writing.Com by accident, but have since realized that it was no accident at all. Since becoming a member about 10 days ago, I've found people who have incredible talent. They share my passion for writing and are honest and respectful in their communications. What I feel must be close to what is felt when someone finds a soulmate. Writing.Com is a place of fun, freedom and encouragement and I thank God for leading me here!

Writing.Com is probably THE best site for people of every age to come and express themselves and also get friendly [but honest] critisism and ways that they can improve.
