poem of holiday experience |
| My holiday. In "T" shirt and sombrero, I`m about to board the plane. My destination is obvious, I`m off to sunny Spain. The flight was good, apart from when, we hit that dreadful storm. But my memories of that will pass, when I reach Benidorm. I`m strutting through the town, perhaps appearing quite obtrusive. Well, I`m feeling rather good, You see my hotel`s all inclusive. My room was good, but morning saw my skin with spots of red. It looks as though mosquito`s, did last night share my bed. The pool looks so inviting, but what`s that awful smell? It would appear, the drains are blocked, somewhere in my hotel. So, I thought I`d settle on the beach, lay on the sand instead. But not for long, I need the shade, my skin has turned quite red. I wandered round some local bars, ate tapas on my way. Can`t wait to see the nightclubs, and watch some cabaret. Too soon, my week was over, no more sunstroke or cheap beer. So it`s adios amigos and, I`ll see you all next year! |
