I Found Me

I used to sit desolate
when you found satisfaction
in picking on me.

I used to eternally cry
when you said
you didn't love me, really

I used to believe you
when you spoke viciously
wanting to abuse me.

I used to

I don't sit desolate anymore.
I don't eternally cry because you didn't love me.
I don't believe your viciousness meant to abuse me.

I don't anymore

I found someone who doesn't abuse me.
I found someone who loves me, really.
I found someone who I can believe in.

I found me
