Love finally dies as well as I.

Shattered


I've been broken and shattered,
and left lying on the floor.
Memories of this morning
when you slammed the door,
flow through my icy veins,
leaving me breathless once more.

Screams of hate are all I can yell,
as our once true love finally dies.
It's an emotion we no longer share.
Tears no longer flow from my eyes,
I told myself I wouldn't anymore,
as I whisper my final goodbyes.
