Introduction writing exercise for the DC&B workshop. |
Our workshop forum is located here:
Barbara’s Stardust Delight Take a large bowl of imagination and add the following: 5 cups of shyness 3 cups of dreams A couple of cups of sugar 1 Cup of integrity Stir in: A generous portion of wilderness Add vision to taste Top with a sprinkle of star dust A pinch of pride Serve with passion fruit And a side of compassion This recipe is far from perfect. It has been known to taste bitter, though it appears to be getting better with age. Best served out doors. Eat with your fingers. Fancy silver is never required. This recipe was created with love in 1957. Much to the distress of Barbara, the recipe first came out of the oven two months too soon. Although, it was a wonderful Mother’s Day gift. Three pioneer women with the help of a master chef kept the original creation from going to waste. It is nice to meet you all. I am looking forward to joining you as we walk this path toward bettering ourselves as writers. Warmest regards. David Here is where I am keeping my workshop items:
