Endless nights of true nightmares

Not Again



Eyes lightly closed,
I wake at the slightest touch.
Heart begins to race,
my body tightens up.

I hear you breathe,
smell your scent closing in.
Really want to scream,
please no, not again!

A tear begins to fall,
I pray to God in the end.
This will be the last,
I can begin to mend.
