A classic. Inspiration taken from sinbad, Persian wars, etc.

...Ah? the goddess of the sea—
Whom shall I sink to—with?
For a breath has me kissed as madly as I am for She.

And bowls all the vowels on her floor,
Spurt by blood and restless howls.
Yet none of these humors
Shall draw a jeopardy smile,
Nor the innocence of her name.

Oceania, my loveless
Such a lover with the saddest eyes
Waves are shattered from her pieces
Of red-risen ink and ill-seeding wails.

Oh, so the sky wears down on Earth's most glorious face...!
And leaves the moon abandoned above all unnamed hopes—
And mourned, within my reach! In a reflecting mirror!

These are what battles have made carved as lust for the lonely hearts.
For the young men who marched recklessly unto their deaths.

Bit by bit, each was ravaged by the vines
Yes, each was ravaged by the vines
All the confined prayers worn off in every trance.

Surely Nature has long forbid this mortal dances—
For no time will shout in June,
And new flowers may come too soon.

Blame not the birds, and so the winds,
If they do not speak to us anymore.
They may not speak to us anymore.

Has God wept on us?
...I believe He has.

Once the night was as beauty-lived bliss.
It was a time when the stars were bright,
And the skinny moon rode a rainbow in the sand.

It was when the wind still comforted the ones...
When the sea faded into an ocean.
When our hearts leaned back and fled—

To the night, that once… was a beauty for free.
