Echoes

She vibrates through my soul...

She calls to me.
Distant,
Longing.

I pretend to not hear
But her voice echoes.

Echoes through this lonely space,
Vibrates through the open door-

Open door of my heart,
Gentle words not spoken.

She will never know
The heart she left
Broken.

Broken and bleeding,
Ripped apart at the seams.

All I do
Is hear her scream.

Hear her shouting
In the night.
Hear her reverberating,
Longing.
