The Rise

Resplendent day of strength renewed
Surmounted torment, ended brood

Across the blue in wispy white,
Escaping haze, like fleeing blight

A sky alight with sun immense
This longing spirit burns intense

What path awaits ahead for me?
These yearning eyes I shield to see

A lively scent of green pine stalk
Uprooted tree, by choice I walk

Above the house of pain I rise,
Begin anew by my devise
