Prompt: What does a goodbye feel like....

They were the last words spoken
      before she took her leave.
  Gentle words, but a token.
      They left me to grieve.


    My heart it did break
    when she shut that door.
My soul won't cease to shake.
    I am always wanting more.

I only wish that you could only feel
        what, to me, this has done.
    You do leave  me to reel
      when you turn and run.
