The Color of Time

Please do your part to save our mother Earth:)

Time slips past in greens and blues

a swirl of color, beautiful hues

look to the land to give us the clues

to why we are here and what we should do.



Wind sweeps by

hear its whispering voice

echoes of our ancestors

hear them rejoice.

 

Take heed to their wisdom

and all that they say

listen ever so closely

lest our planet decay.



Poisoned soil

bleeding trees

we now destroy life

so damned easily.



When will we learn

what price will we pay

when we still have hope

until that very last day?



Heed the earth's warning

hear her loud cry

nurture her now

or just say  goodbye.
