| Autumnal Dance I watch the leaves dance in the air. They dip and swirl without a care ignoring me as I stand there. The mistral’s song comes to an end; they softly find a resting place. In harmony, their colors blend; a patchwork of remembered grace. A entry for "Rising Stars Shining Brighter" The Saraband – is a septet (7-lined stanza) form taken from a musical dance form. The form follows the dance, with a 3-lined stanza (Tercet) followed by a 4-lined stanza (Quatrain). The rhyme scheme is: a. x. a. b. c. b. c. In the Tercet, all three lines may rhyme, or you may choose to rhyme only lines one and three, as in the French version.
