Justice~Isn't It Pretty to Think So?

Writer's Cramp entry. Soldiers are the bravest of souls.

"Isn't it pretty to think so?"
that the world is a wonderful place,
even with the lines of wisdom
written on each soldier's face.
We each conquer our own hurdles.
Sometimes our ignorance is bliss.
We don't understand the workings
of terror's masterful kiss.
The soldiers charge into battle
with their homeland in their hearts.
The General in command foresees
and guides them in doing their parts.
God, Corps, family, self
A soldier puts others first,
and charges on with dignity,
for justice he has a thirst.
"Isn't it pretty to think so?"
That soldiers are the bravest of souls
fighting for liberty's honor
because that's how America rolls.
