An aging man, waking up.
Total Lines: 36

While the wolves howl,
hidden and loud.
The moon quickly rises,
to shine high above.
He goes to lit a candle,
on the dusty table in his cabin.

His brain full of thoughts,
as something senses lost.
A memory to be missing,
as the room felt lessening.
He looked around once more,
for a television to explore.

Then he shook his head,
and took a very deep breath.
His thoughts wrapped around,
the darkness that fell about.
He heard echoes of disaster,
and cried soon after.

Fear began to taunt him,
and soon the roof fell on him.
What thought in his head,
had come before this?
He lost his temper,
he had always been quick to anger.

Not once, did he ask to forget,
yet he had eyes of regret.
But when in the mirror,
his face was reflected.
He saw that Fate had met him,
his hair was gray as ashes.
