You don’t know what you’re doing
They say that love is blind
It’s also deaf and dumb
Once you follow with your heart
Your thinking part turns numb

Your brain just isn’t working
It doesn’t even try
It’s like an empty space up there
Or like a foggy sky

You don’t know what you’re doing
Your head is in the clouds
Your dreams are filled with nonsense
You’d never say out loud

But soon will come the moment
When you land on solid ground
You’ll slowly open up your eyes
And you will look around

And that’s when you’ll discover
She never really cared
The fantasy was in your mind
Your feelings never shared

Now you'll face each morning
With emptiness and pain
And know you’ll never give your heart
To anyone again
