Miya is burning inside with the hope to take revenge. How will she take revenge?
Miya’s black hair was falling down till the middle of her back. Her hair was gleaming brightly complementing her big eyes and long face. A little smile appeared on Miya’s face while she was stroking her silky hair up and down. She took out the shiny gold necklace from the wooden box that was embedded with several big pearls and diamonds. The diamonds were reflecting Miya’s beautiful face. She slipped the necklace on her neck which felt cool when the necklace touched her warm skin. Her attendants were fixing her hair and the other one was straightening the folds of Miya’s blue saree. Maharaja has summoned her and today she has to look perfect. Miya stood up and checked herself in the mirror. ~1~

“You are looking stunning, Rajkumari.” All the attendants said in unison. ~2~

“Leave, if you are done,” Miya said coldly while she was wearing her earrings. ~3~

“As you wish.” The attendants bowed to Miya and left her chamber. ~4~

The moment was drawing closer when she had to present herself in front of her husband- the ruler of this land. After making sure that all’s good, Miya left her chambers. The silver anklets were making little jingling noises with Miya’s every step. ~5~

“Rajkumari Miya, it’s been a while since I last saw you.” Rajkumari Saundarya came out of the balcony and approached Miya. ~6~

Miya greeted Rajkumari Saundarya with a big smile, “Rajkumari Saundarya, it’s so nice to see you. ~7~

Rajkumari Saundarya raised her eyebrows. She glanced at Miya from head to toe, “As always you’re glowing, Rajkumari. Are you going somewhere? ~8~

Miya gave her a sweet little smile, “yes. His majesty has summoned me.” She moved closer towards Rajkumari Saundarya and whispered in her ear, “I think you know well why he called me.” Miya winked at her. ~9~

Rajkumari Saundarya gave her a goofy smile, “very well. He has been summoning you for the past three days but you didn’t give her a reply. Maybe you were very busy. He’s very generous to call you again. It seems that he adores you more than me. ~10~

Miya chuckled. She ran her finger on Rajkumari’s Saundarya arm. “It means that you don’t adore me. ~11~

Rajkumari Saundarya’s face heated up at the sudden touch. She opened and closed her mouth. ~12~

Miya closed the distance between them and kissed her earlobe lightly. She whispered, “it means I didn’t give you enough pleasure and you’re not happy with me.” Miya gently nibbled her earlobe, “the cries when you beg me to give me more, your moans, the lovely face you make. Was it all fake? ~13~

Saundarya gritted her teeth forcing herself not to make any noise. ~14~

Miya stepped back and sighed, “I’m sorry.” she sniffed looking down. “I’m not a good lover. I failed to please you. ~15~

Rajkumari Saundarya shook her head, “y-you are getting it wrong. You know that’s not the case. ~16~

Miya wiped her eyes with the back of her hand, “there is no need to explain anything. I’m useless and you don’t have to come to our ….. ~17~

Before Miya could complete her sentence, Saundarya moved towards Miya and captured Miya’s lips. She gave Miya a deep passionate kiss. Miya became surprised feeling the warm touch but soon she recovered feeling the familiar soft tender touch on her lips. Her tongue struggled with Saundarya’s making prisoners of each other. Saundarya pulled back for a moment then again she kissed Miya tugging on her lower lip, she was sucking and kissing Miya’s lips again and again. When it was hard for Miya to breath she pushed Saundarya. Miya gasped trying to catch her breath. Saundarya folded her arms on her chest and looked at Miya like she had done something wrong. ~18~

“Look at you. You can’t handle such a little kiss and you’re trying to please me.” she looked at Miya grimly, “Looks like I have to teach you again. ~19~

“You can’t do that...”Miya rasped. ~20~

“Oh, yes, dear. I can do that.” she lightly pinched Miya’s cheek, “your body and mind forget all the lessons that I gave you. But don’t worry I will make sure that you spit that nonsense again.” Saundarya continued, “I've chosen you as my lover, not him. You do know I do like what you do to me. Meet me soon at the same place and time. Make sure that you don’t spend any unnecessary time with him. I’d like to hear your voice crying my name tonight. Did you get it? ~21~

Miya nodded. ~22~

Saundarya turned around and peeked at both sides of the corridor. “Hurry up, otherwise my lord's attendants will come again to call you. I’ll be waiting for you. ~23~

Saundarya gave a quick peck on Miya’s cheek. Turning her around, Saundarya patted her back and pushed Miya forward. ~24~

With a big smile on her face, Miya tried to calm herself down. She was so excited thinking about what's going to happen tonight. Slowly, she moved towards Maharaja’s chamber. Saundarya remained in the place until Miya disappeared from her line of sight. ~25~

Miya crossed the corridors carrying with her a thumping heart. Maharaja’s chamber was situated in the north part of the palace. Usually, he used the east part where Miya and his other wives lived. Sometimes, he goes over to his east chambers if he wants to spend some alone time. Accepting the greeting in her way from guards and maids, Miya entered the north chambers. Unlike the east chambers, the north chambers were filled with guards, armory, storerooms, and five big halls where Maharaja consulted with his ministers. All the rooms were lavishly big and showed royalty especially Maharaja’s room. It was simple but if one looked at his room anyone could tell that the room belonged to Maharaja. Miya walked over the steep hallways which led to Maharaja’s chamber. The guards who were guarding Maharaja’s chamber stepped aside and bowed. Nodding Miya took a deep breath, putting out the curtain aside she entered Maharaja’s chamber. A man who was covered with jewels and silk clothes was lying down on the big bed. He seemed relaxed and was quietly sipping the wine in the gold-plated cup which he was lightly swinging in his long fingers. Miya bowed her head a little before moving closer towards the bed. ~26~

He raised his brow, “you’re late. ~27~

Miya shifted her gaze towards the ground. She was fully aware of what's going to happen next. She clenched her fists when she heard the familiar sounds that were coming from the bed. Maharaja kept the glass of wine in the corner of the bed. He climbed down from the bed and walked towards Miya. Maharaja stood in front of her. For a moment, he was absorbed in Miya’s beauty. He slipped his long and cold fingers under her chin and made Miya look into his brown eyes. ~28~

He said coldly, “why did you not show up when I called you? Do you know what happens when I get angry? I’m a very calm man but I don’t like the ones who don't follow my orders. There’s only one punishment for them and that is…'' Maharaja whispered, “death.” with his other hand he softly stroked Miya’s hair, “I guess you do know how the punishment is being executed. Worry not, you will not be given that. As long as you’ll keep me happy you don’t have to worry about anything. My duty is to protect my lovely wife, isn’t it?” Maharaja laughed loudly. ~29~

“I don’t fear death,” Miya muttered. ~30~

Maharaja smirked hearing Miya’s words, “that’s what everyone says, but when in reality death is an inch apart from your face. Then, you came to know how much you love your dear life more than anything else. ~31~

Miya looked straight in the eyes of Maharaja like she’s penetrating his soul, “that’s not the case with us and you do know that, don’t you? All the women that live here and serve you are also willing to die for you. All of them worship you and can do anything for you. Have you forgotten that day? When you were battling with the army of other kingdoms. How the ladies prayed for you day and night or how they all treated you and your injured soldiers.” Miya smirked, “I forgot how you can remember that. You just worry about your own pleasures and desires. You only care about how to become the most powerful king but you neglect your duties to look after your people. You know how to show-off but you don’t see the pain and sorrow of those who work hard to pay you taxes. I ‘m not afraid to say that you, my lord, are not worthy to remain as Maharaja. You don’t deserve to get worshipped or give respect. You’re just thinking of yourself. Did you forget that when the time will come you have to give details of your every deed to the god? And then there you will be treated accordingly. There will not be any mercy….. ~32~

Outside the wind was blowing faster. Because of the wind, curtains were fluttering quickly composing light music. The light music filled the room which soothed her nerves. ~33~

“Be quiet.” Maharaja ordered, placing his cold finger on Miya’s lips. “You have done enough talking. I haven’t met with anyone else because of you. Saundarya, Cauvery, and others were trying their best to make me happy. I didn’t bulge. Why don’t we continue this later? First, let us finish the task that we have been holding for the past three days.” Maharaja said, removing his finger and caressing Miya’s cheeks. ~34~

Miya glanced at her side and nodded. She went towards her left side, and from the big wooden table where all the glass items were placed Miya picked up some of the glass items. From the door of Maharaja’s chamber till the side of his bed she threw the glass items building up the path with them. ~35~

“What are you doing?” Maharaja looked towards Miya with a confused expression. ~36~

Miya did not answer him and continued to break the glass pieces. After preparing and analyzing the path. Miya gazed towards him with a much softer gaze. She was getting a nonchalant feeling from inside. Miya took a deep breath and she put her left toe on the path which she had prepared just now. Immediately, her toe began to hurt, shaking these feelings and pain away, Miya concentrated and she moved forward placing down one foot at a time. The pain was becoming unbearable and blood was also oozing out from her toes. She managed to cross the path and went towards the bed. Turning around, Miya looked at Maharaja who had turned pale watching Miya acting so strangely. ~37~

Miya said, “I’ll fulfill all your wishes and desires today. Before I do that. I want you to complete one mish of mine. I know my beloved husband can do anything for his lovely wife. I want you to just do what I had done just now and then I’ll fulfill yours. ~38~

“Ha-have you gone mad? I’m not going to this stupid thing.” saying this Maharaja quickly went out of the chamber. ~39~

Miya chuckled when he left the room. For a moment she lied down on the bed thanking the gods. It seemed like everything would go well. The wind was blowing much faster. Feeling like nature was happy with Miya’s achievement. When she confirmed that no one was coming, Miya got up from the bed and left the room. ~40~

Miya got back to her chambers and grabbed the black and fuzzy blanket which was lying on the sofa. Wrapping herself in the blanket, Miya pushed the mirror aside. It was the same mirror where she prepares herself for the day. There was a dark and small passage behind the mirror. Miya entered the passage and took the Mashal which was hanged in the corner of the wall. Without the Mashal, it was impossible to walk straight inside the passage. The passage was unbelievably quiet. Only Miya’s footsteps could be heard in the whole passage. The path was short. Soon, Miya was standing outside of the palace. She was on the backside of the palace. Outside, there was a huge forest and a big lake. No one came here as the forest was home to many dangerous things which makes it a lot easier for Miya to work. Passing the big trees, Miya reached her favorite spot. The place was filled with a fresh and lively smell, a beautiful view, and behind her, there was a banyan tree that made it easy for her to concentrate. Taking the fresh air inside her body, Miya sat down on her favorite spot. She closed her eyes to clear her mind. ~41~

“You’re at the wrong place, Miya.” a quiet and deep voice addressed Miya. “Did you forget that you were supposed to be with Rajkumari Saundarya?” a boy with collected expressions came out from the trees. ~42~

Miya’s face brightened up, “you came. ~43~

“I know you need me and my help.” The boy settled himself near Miya and put her legs on his lap. From the bag, he took out some leaves and medicines and started to treat Miya’s feet. ~44~

“Ouch..” Miya cried when the boy took out the piece of glass from Miya’s feet. ~45~ “That hurts”

“Who said you to do something as careless as that. Not once but you walked twice on the glasses. You didn’t even bother to treat yourself. That’s not the way to do things, Miya. If you behave like this then don’t expect me to give you the ingredients and I’ll tell guruji all about it.” Ram said with a straight face, “Guruji knows everything about it and he’s upset with you. ~46~

“What!” Miya cried. ~47~

“Don’t act like you don’t know. I’m not going to help you this time. That’s your problem, don't try to bother me with that. ~48~

“Ahh...it was important to me. I don’t have any other way to get out of there. If today I haven’t gone there he would have to try to send guards behind me to see why I’m not coming for the past three days. All our hard work and planning will be ruined. I can’t wait any longer. All the vidyas, and Shastras that I have studied, the indriyas that I have awakened was because to take the revenge of how Maharaja shattered my state, how he tortured my people, how he burned their houses, slew their head from inside their bodies. He didn’t even show mercy to the children, old and the women. He makes them their slave to be used as pleasures. He killed my people, my life, my dreams, my family, my friends everything just because he wants more power and resources. He’s not a human, Ram. He is a demon. Do you think I will not walk on these pieces? I can even die to achieve the goal of my life. Women always pray to god for the better health and long life of their husbands. I pray to God to give me the strength to kill my husband, and when the time is already here I can’t even wait to see his dead body. That’ll be a great day, Ram.” Miya took a deep breath to calm herself down. All of that she said in one breath. The pain was rushing through her whole body but she didn't mind a bit. Her eyes were shining brightly and she bawled her hands into fists to strengthen her resolve. ~49~

“Alright. I know it. Now, don't blackmail me. Guruji is not at all pissed with you. He knows how you handle things- with resolve and carelessness.” Ram pulled out a small packet that was wrapped with leaves and handed it to Miya. “Here, I guess that’s the thing you wanted to achieve your goal, don’t you? ~50~

Miya took the packet from Ram, opened it up and looked inside it. There was some brown powdery substance inside the packet. Miya tried to take the powdery thing in her hand but Ram stopped her. ~51~

“Don’t touch it. You will die within seconds if it touches any part of your body. ~52~

Miya said, “do you think it will work how I wanted? ~53~

“Yes, it will. Don’t worry about it. The minute he will consume it. He will feel intense pain in his whole body and make him swallow from inside and in a few minutes… the end.” ram put down Miya’s feet, “look, it’s treated now. ~54~

Miya smiled, “You did a good job, Ram. Your work is over. I just have to find a way to give him. As soon as it enters his body I will come here to meet you and then we will go back to guruji’s ashram. ~55~

“What about Saundarya, Miya? Will you take her with you?” Ram asked slowly. ~56~

Miya shook her head, “it will only cause her trouble. Moreover, after the incident, everyone will know I have done that. I know she will hate me but that’s fine by me and as long as she’s well and happy, I don’t want anything. I have spent all those years in the palace not to find love but to accomplish my mission. I will not hurt any innocent but I’m not going to spare any culprit. ~57~

Ram nodded. ~58~

Miya and Ram stood up and hugged each other. Miya lowered her voice, “take care, Ram. We’ll meet soon. ~59~

And with quick steps, Miya left the forest and returned back to the palace. ~60~

Miya entered her room. So many emotions were going through her heart. She went to the balcony. Miya looked over at the dark sky which was filled with millions of stars that were shining brightly. The cold breeze blew across her body which felt cool against Miya’s cheek. She closed her eyes at the cold touch. ~61~

Miya sighed and settled her gaze at one of those tiny bright stars, “I'm sorry that I have to do this thing to take revenge for your death. I know I’ll cause a lot of chaos after that and Vikram and Saundarya will hate me. I have already lost the ones. I love- mom, you, my friends, Vikram, our kingdom… all of you but everything is shattered and destroyed. These past years were like hell to me and then Saundarya came as a light in my life. I do not have any strength to lose her. Tomorrow will be the final day, the end of pain and suffering. The end of the one who not only destroyed our kingdom but destroyed his also. I need your blessings. Without it I wouldn’t be able to come this far. No matter what happens I will achieve my goal. I love you all….” Miya’s throat choked and her vision started to blur. ~62~

She silently kept looking at the dark sky until it was time to meet Saundarya. Before meeting with her, Miya took a bath to clear her mind. She got ready. This time she wore a light pink saree that had a golden border all around it. Pink was Saundarya’s favorite color. She put on simple earrings and a light necklace which complimented her fair skin well. ~63~

Miya headed towards the secret spot which was a small chamber in the west palace. The chamber was on the top floor. Hardly anyone goes there as there were rumors that in the night a dead woman sang sad songs. Everyone was scared. Some people had even seen the woman who roamed around the top floor of the west palace. Due to the rumors, Miya and Saundarya had chosen it as their meeting spot. The west palace was not very luxurious as the parts of the palace but it was perfect for them. Soon, Miya reached the chambers. She knocked on the door twice which was the symbol that Miya had arrived. After knocking on the door, she opened the door slowly and entered the room. Without wasting any moment, she closed the door behind her. The room was the same size as Miya’s chamber. It was big, had large windows through which cool breeze can freely enter in and out of the room. Miya always looks at the room before doing anything else. This time was not any different. ~64~

“You’re late”

Miya looked in front of her. Saundarya was lying on the big bed. She was wearing a blue saree and her soft hair was down to her waist. Miya opened her eyes wide while admiring Saundarya. She looked so beautiful in the dim light and that saree was complimenting her so well. ~65~

“Are you planning to stand there all night? ~66~

Miya came back to her senses hearing Saundarya’s voice. She shook her head. ~67~

“What are you waiting for? Come here, near me.” Saundarya used her fingers to call Miya near her. ~68~

As if hypnotized, Miya moved closer towards Saundarya. ~69~

Miya gracefully bowed, “How can I serve you, my Rajkumari? ~70~

Playing with her hair Saundarya said, “remove them. ~71~

“Huh.” confused Miya looked at Saundarya. ~72~

“Your clothes. They will come in my way.” Miya quickly removed her clothes. ~73~

Saundarya’s eyes shined brightly. She happily watched the view in front of her. “That’s better,” she said as Miya got undressed. ~74~

Saundarya pulled Miya close and holding her hand in hers she lightly kissed on Miya’s lips. Lowering her head, Saundarya dipped her tongue on Miya’s belly button. Miya gasped feeling her slick warm touch. Locking in her arms, Saundarya started to give little kisses on Miya’s chest. In between the kisses, she ran her finger on Miya’s back. Goosebumps rose all over Miya’s body. She closed her eyes and let out a moan. ~75~

Saundarya stopped and looked at Miya, “what? You can’t even handle this much. Look at yourself- I have done nothing and you’re already shaking. You’re so vulnerable.” She smirked, “I can’t wait to hear more of those lovely sounds. ~76~

Saundarya put her hand on Miya’s waist and pulled her closer which made Miya wobble and both of them fell down on the bed. Now, Miya was on top of Saundarya. Miya pinned Saundarya’s wrist with her hand. She kissed lightly on Saundarya's cheek. ~77~

Miya whispered, “you’re right. I really can't wait to hear more of your voices.” She gave several kisses on Saundarya’s collar bone which made Saundarya shiver. ~78~

Saundarya grinned and put her hand on Miya’s waist, bringing her close. “Oh, really. Well, let’s see.” Saundarya tugged on Miya's lower lip. ~79~

The windows were shuttering loudly. Miya woke up groggily hearing the sounds of clutter and clatter. She rubbed her eyes while thinking where she was. Miya looked around and found that she was not in her chambers. The ceiling that she was looking at was familiar but the designs and color were not what she was used to. Her gaze fell on the soft brown hair that was lying on her chest. Saundarya’s hair was tickling her which was making her feel good too. Miya smiled as the last night’s events started floating in front of her. She always feels so good whenever she’s with Saundarya. Slowly, Miya put aside Saundarya’s hair. She wanted to pat and stroke Saundarya’s hair for some time but the wind was blowing at a very fast pace that could wake Saundarya. Quietly, Miya climbed down the bed. She covered herself with the shawl that was lying around. Before moving forward she glanced back to check at Saundarya. She was sleeping peacefully. Saundarya was looking so pretty whenever she slept. The only thing that’s different when she wakes up is that she talks a lot. Miya chuckled. She walked towards the window. As Miya was about to close the window. Her gaze fell on the sky. The sky was still dark. Little stars were twinkling in the sky. And a little half crescent moon was gleaming. Although the sky was still dark, the morning glory could also be seen in between the sky. Miya tugged her hair behind her ears. The coming of light and fading of darkness was creating a special effect in the sky. Miya gasped watching the beautiful view. Immediately, she brought both her hands together and closed her eyes. ~80~

Miya whispered, “Dear, lord. Thank you for being so kind and for giving me the chance to witness one of your beautiful creations. Thank you for giving me another day. Kindly keep showering your blessings on every living being, keep them safe and healthy. ~81~

Miya slowly opened her eyes. She looked around the palace. On the Northside, she could see guards marching around and patrolling the area. Again it reminded her of her guruji who had given her powers to see through the walls, at a distance that normal people could not see. Apart from the guards, there were servants who were doing their daily tasks. Miya quickly glanced at her surroundings. All seemed good and near Maharaja’s chamber, she could see two soldiers from the previous night who were snoring. These two had proved helpful many times. They easily let her and Saundarya escape whenever they wanted too. Miya took a step back and closed the window. The wind was cold. Miya hugged herself as she shivered. She walked towards the bed and sat beside Saundarya. Miya kissed Saundarya’s forehead and gently patted her head. ~82~

Miya said, “It's the last time that we spent the night. After today, I won’t be able to see you. Thank you.” Miya’s vision blurred. “ You are pretty, smart, kind, lovable and a great queen. Citizens here need rulers like you. You can be reckless and sometimes act like a child. But that’s the way you are. You have shown me different sides of you. ~83~ And I…”
Miya looked down before she continued, “I'm not the one that you think I'm. The love I have for you is not fake. I love you from my heart and it’s deep and pure. You have done so much for me. I’m glad that you love me so much. You always make me so happy and I hope even if a little I made you like you made me feel when we are together then I think my life is worthy to be lived. I will always love you and I hope in the next life when we meet we don’t have to hide like this. Our love- the pure love which we have for each other we can tell to the world and show it. Even if I die, I don't have any regrets. I love you deeply. You’re my world, my life. I’m going to give you the sacred thread which will protect you from all evil. ~84~

Miya tied a red cotton thread around Saundarya's wrist. Miya put her hand on Saundarya’s forehead. She closed her eyes and chanted some mantras under her breath for a few seconds. ~85~

“Now you’ll be safe. But that doesn’t mean you’ll be careless in everything you do. Take care of yourself, dear. ~86~

Miya gave a little kiss on Saundarya's lips and getting dressed she went out of the chambers. ~87~

Without stopping anywhere Mya went to her chambers. She thought of calling the attendants to help her to get ready. While picking out her jewelry and clothes she dropped her idea. The attendants will take forever to attend to her. It’s better to do it on your own. Besides, she was running out of time. Miya stopped pacing and closed the door behind her. She got ready and grabbed the packet that Ram had given her last night. She hid the packet so that no one could see it. Taking a deep breath Miya opened the door and went towards the kitchen. Outside, slowly and steadily everyone was getting back to their work. Many of the royal people were still asleep as the sun was slowly showerings his blessings on the ground. The course of the wind was still rough and wild but the shining rays of the sun had faded the effect. Savoring the scenery inside her Miya rushed towards the kitchen. She was taking large steps with a calm expression on her face so that no one could point out that she was in a hurry. There’s one bad habit of the people of the palace that they interrupt one a lot. Miya didn’t like whenever someone asks her where she’s going, what she's doing, what she has done-- all of these irritated her so much that she wanted to slap that person right in the face. But alas, she can’t do that as Guruji had strictly ordered her not to do anything reckless. Entering the kitchen, Miya found that there were few maids that were preparing milk and sweets and other stuff for breakfast. A sweet aroma welcomed her. As Miya moved further in the kitchen all the workers turned around and bowed to her. Miya nodded and waved her hand. At her signal, all the maids left the kitchen. Miya kept roaming and exploring the place until all the maids were out of sight. She went further in the kitchen where the milk was boiling in the large pot. Quickly Miya took some of the boiled milk in the other small pot. She put that pan on the fireplace. In the milk pot, she added nuts, a pinch of turmeric, and that black powder from the packet. Miya stirred the pot and after a few minutes of boiling the milk. She poured it in two glasses. The milk was hot aS white smoke was fuming out from the glasses. Carefully Miya kept the glasses on the big round gold plate. She hid the packet inside one of the boxes of spices. She removed the sweat from her forehead. Miya left the kitchen carrying the tray in her hands. ~88~
The milk was in deep yellow color with some white substance in each of them. With a glint of hope Miya looked at all those glasses which she was carrying. ~89~

“Rajkumari Miya….” a sweet voice filled Miya’s ear. ~90~

Kiara was standing in front of her. A cunning smile was spread across Kiara’s face. She glanced at Miya and her eyes landed on Miya’s feet which were treated last night by Ram. ~91~

Kiara smirked, “good morning, Rajkumari. How are your feet now?” she played with her bangles and so that she could show her the love bites from last night, “I was thinking to meet you and get to know about your health. But your highness summoned me…. You know how to please him and like you, I don’t know different means to say no to him. He was really very upset after you left. ~92~ It took me a while to cheer him up but it was all worth it…” Kiara showed the marks at different parts of her body, neck, collarbone…

Miya slowly sighed and started walking from the other side. But Kiara stopped her path, “ah, Rajkumari Miya, I'd like you to say thank you to you. ~93~

Miya raised her eyebrows, “why? ~94~

Kiara beamed with a smile, “for not spending time with my lord. For the past few days, I was struggling to attract my lord’s attention. It’s been a while since I have last seen his face. It’s so hard to please him. Because whenever he is sad or upset he always chooses to disregard his other 400th female partners. There are many who have never seen my lord’s face or never spend time with him more than once. I'm one of those lucky Rajkumaries who get to see and spend time with my lord. ~95~

“I’m going.” Miya took a step forward. ~96~

Kiara interrupted her, “Rajkumari, I'm not done yet. One last thing, keep up the good work. I mean I know you like to keep my lord on pins and needless. You like to say no to him and keep him waiting, keep doing that because of you we can spend some more time with him. Apart from you, he had spent those three days with Rajkumari Saundarya. I was shattered when I found it out. But now, I’m alive again. Thank you so much.” Kiara moved to hug her. ~97~

“Ah, be careful.” Miya shot her glance at the glasses she’s carrying. ~98~

“Sorry.” embarrassed Kiara rubbed her nose. “What’s this, Rajkumari?” Kiara picked up a glass from the tray. “Turmeric milk.” curious Kiara tried to take a sip from the glass but Miya took the glass back and put it in the tray. ~99~

“Don’t drink it,” Miya warned Kiara. ~100~

“Why? ~101~

“Because it’s for a ritual not for you. And if you tried to drink it you’ll get lots of acne on your pretty face and I don’t want my sweet Kiara’s face to get ruined. It’s for old people not for young and beautiful, my dear.” Miya said. ~102~

“Is that so,” Kiara said thoughtfully. ~103~

Miya nodded, “and if you want to try it..” Miya pushed the tray towards Kiara, “then go ahead and see for yourself. I’m not going to stop you. ~104~

Kiara shook her head vigorously as she took a step back, “n-no, I'm fine. You carry on. I have to bring breakfast to Maharaja. Bye.” Kiara turned around and quickly left the place. ~105~

Miya took a sigh of relief. She quietly whispered, “thank you, god, if she had taken this drink then I wouldn’t be able to save her. This is only for my lord and no one else. ~106~

Calming herself down, Miya went over to Maharaja’s chambers As she crossed the steep hallway Miya was stopped by the guards who were guarding Maharaja’s chamber. ~107~

“Pardon us Rajkumari.” the guards bowed her head and one of them opened his mouth, “your highness has ordered us not to allow you to enter. He said that to go back to your chambers as all your efforts will be wasted. ~108~

Miya glared at the guards, “oh, really. You will try to stop me. ~109~

The guards bowed lowered. The other guard said, “forgive us, Rajkumari. We have no intention of not following your orders. Please excuse us but we are bound by Maharaja's order and if we don’t follow the orders given by him. We’ll be punished. ~110~

“Don’t worry about that,” Miya said, reassuring them. “You’ll not be punished. Just do as I say. One of you goes to Rajkumari Saundarya and tells her that I sent you to her. She’ll do the needful. And the other one of you make sure that no one enters here until I come out. Did you get it? ~111~

“Yes, Rajkumari.” Both of them said in unison and left the place to fulfill their duties. ~112~

Miya entered Maharaja’s chamber. The room was quiet and in the corner, Maharaja was polishing his sword. Miya put the tray onto the side table and moved towards Maharaja. ~113~

“STOP!. ~114~

Miya stopped in her tracks hearing the stern voice of Maharaja. ~115~

“Who told you to come here. Those stupid guards only know how to eat and fart. ~116~

Miya opened her mouth to speak, “ah-huh.. ~117~

“Don’t dare to say a word. Go away before my sword loses control and removes your head from your body. ~118~

“Cut my head. Who stopped you from doing that? You are Maharaja, the owner of this place. No one can dare to not follow your orders. But I have to make my heart strong to fulfill my aim. A mission to apologize for my behavior and doing. I committed a grave sin last night. I had asked you to do something that no one can think of telling you to do in their dreams.” Miya sighed for a moment. She glanced at his husband whose attention was now at Miya’s words as he stopped wiping his sword. ~119~

Miya sniffed, “I don’t know what happened to me last night. I should have never done that. It doesn’t suit a Maharaja like you to do this pity thing. God will never forgive me for what I have done. Though, I can try to ask for forgiveness from the Lord who is in front of me.” Miya sat down on her knees looking down, “I know there is no forgiveness for me. It is for you to decide what’s the best punishment for me. I only want to tell you that I’m ready for any punishment and as an apology, I’d like you to present myself-- my body to you. It’s yours, my lord. You can do anything as you wish. ~120~

“Quiet…” Maharaja interrupted Miya. “You have said enough it’s unusual for you to speak like that.” Maharaja turned around and glared at Miya, “it’s odd to see such a strong woman can bow her head like that. ~121~

“That’s because I have realized my wrongdoing. ~122~

Maharaja laughed, nodding his head, “now, do you understand what happens when you take a step outside your boundaries. You’ve forgotten your boundaries for the past some time. I was disappointed with your reckless behavior.” Maharaja took a deep breath. He continued, “ No worries. You’ll get punished for your deeds. And what punishment will it be I’ll decide later. For now, why don’t you make up for some of those behaviors? Maybe your punishment will be lightened. ~123~

“I’m ready. As you say I'll do anything.” Miya agreed. ~124~

“Very well. I know you’re a smart woman. The only problem is that you had deviated from your path. But everything will be fine now. Get up and show me how you can make up. ~125~

Miya stands up in front of Maharaja. Her eyes were still searching the floor as she said, “before I proceed. I need your permission to give you something. ~126~

Maharaja put his hand forward as if in agreement. Miya walked over to the table and picked up the tray she was carrying from the kitchen. She walked towards Maharaja who was sitting on the edge of the bed shaking his legs playfully. ~127~

“What’s that?” Maharaja furrowed his brows. ~128~

“It’s a drink that I have prepared for you. In other words, it’s an apology drink made with Haldi, Milk, Saffron, Elaichi, Meve... It will help you to relax and also boost up your energy.” Miya winked at Maharaja. ~129~

Flustered Maharaja took up the glass and glared at Miya, “alright, there’s no need for it. I’m only drinking to calm myself down. Don’t take it the other way. ~130~

Miya shrugged, “I didn't, you’re the only one who is talking. ~131~

Maharaja finished the drink in one gulp and put the glass in the tray. He made a sour face, “take it away. I’m not going to drink another. ~132~

Worried, Miya asked, “do you not like it? ~133~

“It’s horrible. Throw it away. ~134~

With a small smile on her face, Miya left the chamber. While moving out of the chambers she smirked and muttered, “one is more than enough for you. ~135~

Miya chuckled and went out of the hall. Suddenly a thought struck in her mind which made her stop. Thinking for a moment Miya turned around and went back to Maharaja’s chamber. She could hear shallow breathing sounds. She moved closer towards the room and peeking inside she found that Maharaja was breathing loudly. His face had turned yellow and pale. His body was crumbling like a paper. There were loose muscles, wrinkled skin instead of a well-toned muscular body. Watching Maharaja’s condition, Miya beamed with a smile. He was trying to say something but his voice was barely audible. He was struggling in the bed as the last moments of his life were coming closer. As Maharaja's condition was becoming worse she decided that it was better to stay in her chambers and wait to hear the good news. ~136~

Miya hurriedly left the chambers. While walking she looked at the tray which she was carrying. Still, one glass full of milk was left in the tray. It’s quite useful but it can be dangerous too. She decided to get rid of it. On the way back to her chambers she threw the remaining turmeric milk in the plants and ordered the servant to put back the tray in its place. ~137~

After getting back to her chambers, Miya sighed and flopped on the bed. ~138~

“Whoa, that was a good start,” Miya muttered. She removed her hair which was dampened with sweat from her forehead and closed her eyes. Miya was about to fall into the dreamland but the attendant’s voice interrupted her. ~139~

“What happened?” without opening her eyes Miya asked. ~140~

“I’m sorry to disturb you, Rajkumari.” the attendant bowed deeply. “B-but we…” she sniffed loudly. ~141~

Miya opened her eyes and looked at the attendant carefully. She was bawling her eyes out. ~142~

“Stop crying and open up your mouth,” Miya said sternly. ~143~

For a while, the attendant kept on wailing and snoring her nose. She rubbed her eyes while speaking, “uhh, you don’t know what’s happening. There's a lot of chaos, everyone’s so tense. The whole palace is upside down. Everything’s ruined….” She again started crying. ~144~

Miya’s chamber was in the corner, away from all the noise and fuss. She was not very surprised if she hadn't heard anything. Miya sat down, “just tell me straight what’s the matter? ~145~

Before the attendant could say anything. A small troop of soldiers entered Miya’s room blocking the entrance. They pointed their spears at Miya. A cold shiver ran down Miya’s back. ~146~

With a calm expression, she asked, “what’s that supposed to mean? ~147~

“It’s the Queen Cauvery’s order. We have been asked to arrest you and bring you as a prisoner in front of her.” without any hesitation the soldier said. ~148~

Miya climbed down from the bed, “don’t move closer. ~149~

“Heh, look who’s speaking, the murderer. ~150~

Everyone except Miya bent on their knees. Miya frowned, finding Cauvery in front of her. ~151~
“Who are you calling a murderer?” Miya squinted. ~152~

Cauvery smiled. “You’re so innocent, my dear.” she pointed at the soldiers, “all of these are just here to take you. See how important you’re.” Cauvery turned her gaze towards the soldiers, “you silly logs, have you decided to remain like this for the rest of your lives. Move your legs and capture Miya. I swear, God. I’m going to give her 1000th times more than what she had given me. ~153~

“What.. ~154~

Cauvery interrupted Miya, “Don’t you dare, open your mouth in front of me. I know what you have done. ~155~

Two soldiers captured Miya and tied her with chains. ~156~

“I have done nothing wrong,” Miya whispered. ~157~

Cauvery laughed loudly, “I'm sure you didn’t know what you have done, my dear. You’re a sweet innocent girl. How can you do anything?” she turned around and waved with her hand to follow her. ~158~

Reluctantly, Miya followed Cauvery. Even though she was tied, Miya's face showed no sign of fear. Soon, they reached Maharaja’s chambers. It was crowded outside with the servants, attendants, and maids. Terror can be seen on everyone’s face while they were whispering among themselves. When Miya passed through them they all took a step behind and bowed their heads shaking with fear. Moving further in the hall there were two people that were beaten badly and were lying half-dead on the ground. Those two people were the guards of Maharaja’s chamber. Tears rolled down Miya’s cheek. Cauvery who was walking ahead suddenly turned around and walked towards Miya. ~159~

“Oh, our little girl is crying,” Cauvery said with a worried expression on her face. She slowly wiped the tears from Miya’s face, “see, these two didn’t follow the orders. As per Maharaja’s rules if someone refused or didn't follow the orders then there is the only punishment for that person and that is death. I guess you know about this, don’t you, dear? ~160~

Miya glared at Cauvery, “the punishment can only be given by Maharaja. Who are you to give punishment to anyone? You’re the one who is not following your orders. ~161~

Cauvery smirked, “the murderer is talking about the rules. I don’t think so I will teach someone about the rules if I were in your place. ~162~

“I still don’t know what you are talking about,” Miya muttered. ~163~

Cauvery lightly patted Miya's shoulder and turning around she again started walking. ~164~

As they were moving closer towards Maharaja’s room. The air around them was becoming tense and dry. Miya could feel that her heart was beating a little faster. Although she knows what’s going to happen and at no cost, she will bow her head...at least not in front of Cauvery. The guards were strictly guarding the steep hallway that led to Maharaja's chamber. As they were passing through them. The guards were bowing in front of Cauvery and when Miya passed through them they stood still. But some of them showed a little smile to her. Miya could hear the sounds of beating chests, crying and wailing. It was making her heartache. But she doesn’t let it show on her face. The soldier who was behind Miya pushed her down onto the floor. Miya was surprised at the sudden attack. She slowly looked up and found Kiara, Saundarya, and Rajmata in the room. In front of Miya, Maharaja's dead body was lying on the white cloth which was nothing except his skeleton which was wearing jewels. ~165~

“Did you see the bones in front of you? That was our king this morning and now only his bones are left. You have killed our protector.” Cauvery shouted. ~166~

“Miya..” Saundarya tried to speak with Miya but Cauvery interrupted her. ~167~

“No, dear sister. She will kill you too. Don’t talk with her. ~168~

“But..” Saundarya tried to argue. ~169~

Cauvery shook her head. “You can’t. I’ve already shown you the proof. She will just make you dirty and filthy like her. Bhagwan knows what she does in the middle of night roaming in the palace like an intruder. I’ve seen it myself and tried to ask her but it brushed me off.” Cauvery moved closer towards Miya. She took the sword from one of the guards and pointed it towards Miya, “it will be better if I finish her off now. I don’t want any more impure creatures like her. ~170~

“Wait!” Rajmata stood up and for a moment she looked at Miya. Her soft kind face was showing more wrinkles than it used to show. Her eyes lost their shine. It felt like she wanted to speak something to Miya but she settled her gaze on Cauvery. ~171~
“We will execute her tonight in front of the public. She had eaten my son. Killing her off like this will do no good. ~172~

Cauvery nodded happily, “leave it to me, Rajmata. I’ll do all the preparations and I bet you will be happy how I will treat her. ~173~

Rajmata blinked and gestured to take Miya away from her sight. The soldiers quickly blindfolded her eyes, mouth and took her away. ~174~

“Uh..” Miya tried to open her mouth to speak but all that came out was some little muffled sound. She was unable to open her eyes, all she could feel was darkness and blackness all around her. Miya tried to move her hands and legs but she couldn’t move as she wished. She could hear the clinking sounds of chains that were tied around her hands and legs as it felt cool to touch. She was trying to think of something, and suddenly she heard her name. ~175~

“Miya…” the voice was ringing inside her head. ~176~

Relief immediately washed over Miya’s body. She quickly answered back in her mind. ~177~

“Thank god, Miya. You answered. I was calling you since forever where you are.” Ram’s voice was scared and filled with worry. ~178~

“They captured me, Ram,” Miya said hesitantly. ~179~

“What, why, how did it happen? ~180~

“I was so tired after finishing up the work and I fell asleep. Now, they are going to kill me in front of all the people. ~181~

Ram sighed exasperatedly, “you, can’t you control yourself for a little while. It’s already evening. They will be going to punish you anytime soon.” After stopping for a while, Ram continued, “ Guruji will kill me when he knows about it. I’m coming to take you with me. ~182~

“Just stay where you are. I’ll be there on my own. ~183~

“No way…” Ram shouted. ~184~

“Don’t shout,” Miya shouted back. ~185~

“Sorry, but no sorry. ~186~

“Shut up, you can’t risk your life because of me. I’ll come there, as I promised.” Miya heard the sounds of footsteps that were coming towards her. “Look, someone is coming here. I’ll talk to you later. ~187~

“I think what Rajkumari Miya has done is all for our good.” a hoarse voice echoed in the room. ~188~

“What do you think?” the man asked his companion. ~189~

After a few moments of silence, the other person spoke up. His voice was shrill and high-pitched. “I guess you are right, Maharaja was very cruel. Actually, I don't like the way he acts with us. Maybe he deserved this. ~190~

“Uh-huh, but I pity Rajkumari. She will get a very cruel death. She should have run away and not meddled herself in this affair. ~191~

“Rajkumari might be angry with him and she just did it on a whim. Remember last night, how her feet were bleeding, everyone was talking about that. He might have beaten Rajkumari or treated her poorly. That’s why she killed him. ~192~

“Who knows what might have happened with those two. Anyways, we just have to do our duty. Take Rajkumari out on the platform. Lots of people have already gathered there. ~193~

“You’re right.” the man agreed with his partner. ~194~

The guards freed Miya from the chains. With great effort, both of them put her down from the poles from where she was hanging. Miya was still tied and blindfolded as she couldn't see or speak. The guards were pulling her with the ropes that were tied around Miya’s body. ~195~

Outside, the place was filled with loud noises and cheers. The guard removed the blindfold from Miya’s eyes. Miya squinted to adjust herself with the surroundings. She was standing in the middle of the crowd with Cauvery on her left who seemed to be enjoying the show with an amused expression. The whole area was filled with men, women, and children. In the open area, Rajmata and other royal people were seated quietly watching the situation with serious expressions. Cauvery moved towards Miya and glanced at her for some time. She sighed slowly and moved her attention towards the crowd. ~196~

Pointing at Miya, she said, “here’s the culprit who has killed your beloved king. I was so shocked when I found out that my little sister will kill our dear husband. She has just made all of us an orphanage. What sin we have committed that she snatched our God from us. I don’t really know. ~197~

“Traitor! Traitor! We want justice! Kill her.” the crowd shouted loudly. Some started to throw stones at Miya. One of the stones hit her head and blood started to drip from her head. ~198~

Cauvery raised her hand to stop them, “You’ll get justice. Be patient. We are going to give her what she deserves and much more than that. Can you see this in front of you?” Cauvery pointed to the hanging rope that was flowing freely with the wind. “Cover her head with the cloth. ~199~

The servant who was standing nearby brought the cloth. The servant moved forward to wrap the black cloth around Miya’s face. ~200~

“Wait! Not like this. She’s still wearing royal clothes and murders are not worthy to even touch them. Remove them NOW. ~201~

Miya gulped hard. She looked around and her gaze stopped at Saundarya’s. Saundarya looked at Miya too but she turned her head quickly. As the clothes were torn from her making her exposed in front of the whole kingdom. Her body was getting hit with the cold air, it was hard for Miya to even breath. ~202~

Man in the crowd was looking hungrily at Miya. Some were even whistling and cheering. ~203~

Cauvery was beaming happily when there’s not a piece of cloth left to cover Miya. “Mmm, that looks good. I’ve another gift for you, my dear. ~204~

The maid who served Miya brought two hot iron rods. She bowed and handed those two rods to Cauvery. ~205~

Cauvery took the rods and went over to Miya. Without a word, Cauvery pushed the two rods into Miya’s eye. Miya hurriedly stepped behind but the guards tightly held her arms, she was unable to move from their grip. An intense pain was burning through her eyes. Cauvery moved back and removed the rods. Miya’s eyes were burning badly and she couldn't see a thing. ~206~

“Hang her,” Cauvery said coldly. “But don’t remove the stool until her whole body meets with her two friends.” Cauvery took several steps back. ~207~

The cloth was wrapped around Miya’s face and she was forced to stand on the stool. The rope was hung around her neck. In a little while she could feel cold hands moving on her breasts and in the next moment, the hot iron rod was touched on her thighs. Miya wanted to shout and fight but she couldn’t do anything. The pain was rushing on the spots where she was getting touched. Again and again, she was touched by the hands and after that with the rod under her thigh, on her breasts, neck, and other parts. The process continued until all her parts of the body were touched with those filthy hands and the hot iron rod. Miya’s body was aching with pain. She tried to think about Guruji. Miya doesn't know how long it continued, she got out of her trance when she heard Cauvery’s voice. ~208~

“My dear, I hope you enjoyed your gifts. Happy journey to heaven. I advise you to say sorry to your husband when you meet him there. Good luck! ~209~

Rajmata quietly said, “Kill her. ~210~

A second later, the stool was removed and Miya’s naked body was hanging in the air. ~211~

In the lands of Ratnapura, a few miles away from the palace. A boy who has middle height and a thin figure were walking back and forth on the green lands. On the palace where the cheers and shouts and celebration were going on after Miya was killed and on the other side that boy was worriedly wearing his legs out due to Miya. Ram stopped. He gritted his teeth and looked back at his Guruji who was in the Dhyana Mudra sitting near the big banyan tree. Ram wanted to ask about Miya again from Guruji but he was scared that Guruji would get mad at him. Reluctantly, Ram clenched his fists. He was feeling so angry with himself. Only, if he had studied thoroughly he would have helped his friend long ago. Because of his carelessness, he was walking here like a fool. More than that, he should have understood that it’s not easy to run away from alone when the palace is filled with only enemies and enemies. It was his fault that he left Miya in between that Rakshas. If only he wouldn’t have listened to Miya, there might have been a different fate for her. ~212~

“Don’t blame anything on fate. ~213~

“How can you remain so calm, Guruji? Those nerds had killed your favorite student. ~214~

Ram’s face was getting hot as anger was rising again inside him. ~215~

“That was supposed to happen, Ram. It was the destiny that Miya had to face no matter what. ~216~

“What? Losing your eyes and respect in front of thousands and...this type of death...who deserves this type of death. Not even your enemies deserve that. She was a woman, Guruji. ~217~

“You can’t change anyone's fate, Ram. Look, there.'' Guruji pointed out towards the farm. From there, an eight-year-old girl was running as fast as her little legs could carry her, towards Guruji’s ashram. ~218~

“Did something happen, Guruji? ~219~

Guruji shook his head. He took his kamandal in his hands, he stood up on his feet and walked towards Ram. The little girl came closer towards them. She bent down and touched Guruji's feet. ~220~

“Ayushman bhava!” Guruji said slowly. ~221~

The girl waved at Ram and he waved back. ~222~

Surprised, Ram looked at Guruji, “That’s not true, isn’t it? ~223~

“Your eyes are not fooling you. ~224~

“Who do you expect?” the girl glared at Ram. ~225~

“Oh, Miya... I’m so happy you’re back.” Ram hugged Miya tightly. ~226~

Miya beamed with a smile, “I was only away for a few hours.. ~227~

Ram glanced Miya up and down, “hmm, I can see that. But how did this happen because I know Miya can’t do this on her own? ~228~

“I did that, the body is of someone else but the soul is of Miya. ~229~ Now, she can start a new life with a new aim and a new name,”

Miya nodded happily, “a goal to take revenge from my murderers,”

“Again with revenge. Do you want to spend all your lives taking revenge? This cycle will not stop Miya. Every day, you will find someone to take revenge, Focus on your energy. I haven’t given you this body to take revenge. You’ve already taken one for your kingdom and family. Now, is the time to use what I have taught you to bring happiness to this world. Remove suffering, help those who need help and make full use of this human body. You can do great things all you have to do is forget that ever happened back to you. ~230~ If you do that, I’m sure you will enjoy your life,”

Miya took a deep breath and nodded, “I think you’re right. I’ll try to forget everything that happened and follow your advice, Guruji. Bless me, Guruji so I can walk without any other thought on your path.” Miya touched Guruji’s feet again. ~231~

Guruji put out his hand and smiled, “May God give you the strength to make better use of your human life. ~232~

The end. ~233~
