Plans are changed for the thanksgiving celebration. The menu is very different.
“It’s almost Thanksgiving.”

“I know that which is why I really need to lose this weight.”

“Why”

“So I’m too thin to have enough meat for humans to eat.”

“Are you on a diet?”

“No, they feed me the very best stuff, I can’t resist.”

“What are you going to do?”

“Ask my wife to lay extra eggs and hope this protein source will entice them.”

“But, that’s not traditional for this holiday.”

“We’ll have to start a new tradition.”

“How?”

“I sure wish I know.”

“Maybe your Mrs. might know.”

“I’d sure hate for her to become a widow.”

“That would be sad.”

“My darling Tom, I’ll lay more eggs, golden eggs.”

“I like that idea, Tom watcha think?”

“I like it too.”

“Thank you, dear. I’ll also protect you. You know those humans, they are easily distracted. My golden eggs should keep them busy figuring out how to get rich so they forget about eating you.”

”That’s wonderful’ Mr. and Mrs turkey. I hope this works well for you.”

“Thank you. We’ll let you know when we have young ones.”

“This is going to be a very happy Thanksgiving one we can tell our children about.”
