At the top of the third inning, Kyle Tucker hit a two run single.
At the top of the seventh inning, Yuli Gurriel scored on an error.
At the top of the eighth inning, Gurriel drove in Alex Bregman with a single.
In the bottom of the eighth, Marcus Semien scored on a forced out.
Then, Randal Grichuk drove in Bo Bichette with a single.
Tucker had two RBIs.
Astro's starting pitcher Luis Garcia went six innings, allowing just three hits. an earned run, two walks, and struck out eight batters.
Jay's starting pitcher, Steven Matz went 4.1 innings, allowing eight hits, four earned runs, four walks, and struck out three
"He, (Matz), wasn't as sharp today," said Jay's manager, Charlie Montoyo, at the postgame press conference.
The Jays have a day off before kicking off a three game series against the White Sox in Chicago tomorrow night.
