But better than nothing...
"You can't do this..."

Why not?

"I don't want to lose you."

It's inevitable, we've been over this.

"And you never listen! You always ignore my advice!"

We can't hide from danger Mia. I can't hide from it.

"It's a death sentence."

You say that about everything. I'm still alive, aren't I?

"It doesn't mean I'm wrong."

Well of course you'll be right at some point! Christ, there's no point in acting as though death is some massive discovery you've made!

"... Michael-"

Really! Each and every time I go to do something even remotely dangerous, you bring up the 'you'll kill yourself!' Or the 'it's a death sentence!' Thing, it's getting old at this point.

"... I'm just... afraid, that some day, I'll lose you. We're supposed to have our whole lives to look forward to, but if you're gone... I'll just be stuck looking back forever. I don't want to live like that..."

... So why bother.

Why bother staying here, if all I bring is pain.

"... Where else would I go? It's a hollow choice, no matter how you look at it."

Away. Back to where you were ripped from.

Who really am I, to stand as harbourer of two lives - of two loves?

"You brought me here..."

It was the will of the Gods, of the order of the World. Damn the lot of them.
