Roses In Heaven

In heaven I look around and see you there
Standing strong, like on Earth with your blonde hair
You pick roses, I'll pick roses too and scatter them in heaven
For in this life we call home, there are tales not yet woven.

In heaven, roses wait for us to be held and nourished
Rains here on Earth, there isn't a river that hasn't been flushed
In the light of God I stand with you in your written works
The heavens awake to your special talks.

Heaven is in my hands and in my sight
Your rose petals float in a heavenly light
Until the day when heaven calls
Roses will grow for you and all.

So take this poem and read it well
For you it was written to escape that hell
I'll call this poem "Roses" because you make me feel
That heaven is so close and it's all so very real.

The golden light is upon my skin as is the Earth
The silvery light is cast down to me, heaven's love is first
So in heaven and in your world, comes a healing thirst
That everything will be ok as it is in the end.
