Somewhere between ending and beginning,
I folded inward like a prayer.
The world thought I was still,
but inside, galaxies were learning my name.

I was never broken, only becoming,
wrapped in the silk of surrender,
listening for the pulse of what was next.

It takes darkness to remember light,
and courage to let it touch you again.

When I emerged,
I didn’t need wings to know I could fly.
