I started writing short stories in middle school and high school. Then in 2009 a friend was doing nanowrimo. I decided to try it and wrote a retelling of Sleeping Beauty. In 2010 I didn't do so good. For Camp NaNoWrimo in July I wrote a fantasy, Forest of Flowers. In August I wrote a mystery, A Fine Thread.
