my name is becky and i am a dabbler in writing. i was, in my past, more connected to writing - and did more of it. but as a busy mom of 2 small people, and a full time teacher - my writing has been put on the back burner. by joining writing.com, i feel like i have a place to share my writing and reason to do more writing. my genre of choice is poetry and prose - usually based on personal experience. one goal is to write in my journal on a regular basis. a goal for 2011, is to write a poem each month.
