The magnolia in front of our house in full bloom.


            Magnolia

            Magnolias adorn our street
            All year their beauty inspires
            Green and serene in summer months
            Naked branches of winter mood
            Opening buds in early spring
            Lovely large white and pink flowers
            Intense scent, flavouring my days
            Announcing renewed life each year
