A nonsense poem, it just fell out of me.

With colours that light the room
And pictures that relate to doom
I will never forget you
As we flew to the moon.

Sparks fly and feelings wane
People leave and go away
In my life it's shades of grey
As we flew to the moon.

On top of the universe
Flying across the waters
Catching night skies in my pocket
As we fly to the moon.

I once was born into this world
Where roses grew and flags unfurled
Now we see the sand run away
As I once flew to the moon.
