| I miss the sun! I feel left out when the sun doesn't shine. Anyway, you know that you are busy when you have to use facebook to communicate with your roommates... Gar! Or when you leave your dishes for so long in the sink that the messiest roommate decides to wash them for you. (Okay, that actually hasn't happened yet, but it's getting close!) Or when you read and walk at the same time, because otherwise there is no way that you'll be able to read everything for tomorrow. Eliza goes tanning to combat wintery sadness. Maybe I should too. | I miss having my compu at my desk, because then I could sit and write down my thoughts and feelings and figure it all out, and then reflect back later whenever I have the time. I miss have my compu at my desk because back in the day I could save my pictures to my tons of memory space. | I'm struggling to kick into gear this semester. I've only been to two classes so far, but the end feels forever away. I changed majors. Again. I'm a psych major now, I want to be a counselor and work for IJM (www.ijm.org), at least, that's what I think I want. God's people cry for justice, and that's what IJM works for- justice. But once justice has been had, then what? The people freed from slavery in mills and the women and children freed from slavery in brothels... That comes with baggage. And that baggage needs to be worked through. God never wastes a hurt, but how many more years of college can I take? |
| "Or when it's on fire" -The words of Abbey, my roomie. And I want to know when the bonfire is!!! My flashdrive, with the bare bones of my spanish paper, aren't working! I thought that flashdrives were made because floppy disks were so awful! The little light blinks and says, "I'm recognizing that you just plugged me into a computer." And then the light turns off! I wish my family would make up their mind, too! Either no one is home, or the phone is busy.  They all need cell phones in a bad way. |

| In my heart, I know that the richer person is the person who is an honest worker... But sometimes I don't remember as well as others. I'm tired of working in a place where the lazy and the hardworking are treated, rewarded and punished as a group, and all of the above are facilitated by the hardworkers. Why? Well, partly because it's irritating and frustrating, but mostly: It's training me to be a slacker because as a slacker I'm treated the same way as if I acted otherwise. I used to be (and usually still am) a hardworker. I'm a bit of a slow worker, because I'm not racing the clock to get out of there, but I'm never doing nothing. There's not much to be done about it now. Just know that I used to be very attached to my job, and I wanted the best for the entity that is Late-Nite. Now.... that's not so true anymore. |
In my buddy list, I'm the only one online right now. (other than those people who ALWAYS have an away message up, but NEVER are there...) I'm tired of being expected to respond a certain way to something, and being considered 'eccentric' because I don't. In example: it's commonplace for guys at work to place their hands 'lovingly' on the waists/shoulders/love-handles of girls every once in a while. I'm 'supposed' to think nothing of it. I really don't like it, though. (Not because it's considered sexual harrasment, but because I just don't get familiar with anyone in that manner.) (I like to cuddle with everyone, but it's not errotic in any way). I'm finally getting tired.
