Moving beyond a concept
I'm having a bit of trouble at the moment. It's been a long while since I've written anything and even longer since I last tried to work on something novel length. I think I identified where my problem lies.

I can't move beyond a concept.

See, I have no problem coming up with an imaginative setting and concept for my story. I have loads floating around in my head. I can easily while away the hours adding detail to my concepts and settings. But the moment I come to try and think of a plot to take place around the concept I struggle.

Does anyone else have this problem? Does anybody have a solution that works for them? I'd love to hear it!

Thanks,
Matt
