The attachment to old things brings back memories where people in it no longer exist.Since nostalgia keeps them alive. for some people it's easy to detach themselves but for some it's a constant struggle. in this mysterious poem , a girl's walk in life seems challenging and full of disturbing memories. It flows well with a good scheme of rhyming but no rhythm noticed, sometimes the rhyming lines are deliberate, especially last but one stanza. with no one to support the girl, her life seems to be miserable but she somehow manages to live with her mother's song, which could be a memorable support she finds, even if the mother is nowhere to find, I did not get the message in this poem, if there is one.

When mind lost , everything human is not understandable, the picture of DID is depicted in this poem, which is sad to read, and hard to visualize it. The spacing in line may represent the pause in thinking clearly when suffering from DID.Since it's contest entry, not much room is there as far as theme is concerned.

A good study of the many quotes put together.going through the life experiences there is a correlation between the life experiences are done well here.
Especially a quote'Perception determines reception' is well discussed.the end is good :Honesty does not demand agreement on every point. Honesty gives permission to be who I am and to be accepted for being that person.

A strange experience in art exhibit is documented well. A girl so young can't appreciate the artist's whim but just got scared.The flash fiction is plotted well but the end is not as expected. It neither a surprise nor a moral of the story.It may be because the age of the girl couldn't get any deeper meaning of the experience spoken. a dialogue between them is interesting but doesn't add to the fiction ,I believe.I could be wrong there, but that 's what I understood.

It's warm story, and moral is as valid statement of the generations. I never heard this folk tale in India but something similar to it. these folk tales are ran from generation to generation with slight variation each time but the moral remains the same. The tale of monkey is a metaphoric to human life, we see the same motherly attitude in human beings too. The story is told with a good flow, a little repetitious sometimes, but to stress the point here , it may be necessary. the footnote with a moral is a good idea.

A analysis of humility in this article is subjected to the one sided views . One reader can't agree with all but some of them are quite relevant , It is not easy to read, and it could be written in simple format so the reader would relate to it.It does express the author's view correctly but it was not convincing enough to reader.May be it's not meant to be. There is a comment on learning and knowledge, which is totally different way of thinking , the same is true about cultivating morality and technique.

Here is a comment on chain letters sent by e mails and most of us follow its instructions to forward to so many people in response to it we might get some unseemly rewards, We follow this blindly, and the author is calling it as a gullible act, it may be but since we don't see any harm init we do it, not everybody believes in it. but the neighbor forces you to mall to gain some odd gifts from the shops, you find it very odd because you are forced to do it. I'm sure the author is aware of all the reasoning but she wants to to clarify her views with readers.

A new form of poetry here -A Hiaku Sonnet- never read before. It's a sad story of a loss of a friend to Alzeimer like disease, where the mind is lost with all the memories or identities.
A flow is good, and a loss is emotional turmoil, one finds it hard to bear, but everybody is helpless here. and hard to find a solution to the problem.only thing is left is rosy memories and good times once experienced in the friendship. Those days are gone for ever and can't be caught again.One has to face the fact without an alternative.

A common picture of an old man in current society. it 's a reality of empty nester. all holidays feel the same without the family around, they feel like not any special from everyday life, but that's the way it's. there is no alternative , everybody goes through the life this way, it's not avoided. but to live life gracefully is in anybody's hand.
